Excellent place to eat, but always very busy, only thing is you need to book in advance to dine on a Sunday.

OMG the best Sunday lunch I?ve had in years. Everything was cooked to perfection and I could have had a full pint of that gravy. Will definitely be paying another visitParking: There is a large car park, but if it?s full you can park on the road

Average everything, just not the price.Food is okay, very little portions and will never be full from one plate. Price is ridiculously expensive!Prices on the drinks menu are all lies.

Advertised as open online from noo . Drove there to eat but the establishment had reduced its hours to open at 4pm and was closed. Extremely disappointingParking: All you can do is park and wait for it to open

Myself and my wife thought we would try bobs smithy Inn for a meal, we booked our table for around 5pm on a saturday, the atmosphere was calm and reletively quite. We were seated instantly on a table for 2 which was adjacent to another table that seated 2 and the tables were a little too close together giving the feeling we were sitting with the other couple sharing our conversations, anyway we dealt with it. We were saved our drinks within minutes which was nice and our food order was taken and arrived very quickly. I ordered sausage, mash and gravy and my wife ordered chicken and bacon tagliatelle, the sausage dish just about came with gravy which made it a little hard to swallow but tasted OK, I helped my wife finished her meal which was bloody fantastic.Try the chicken and bacon tagliatelle!!!The eating area was smallish but if we had been seated on a table for 4 it would have been far more comfortable.Overall i would give the whole experience a 6.5 out of 10.

Just had a very hearty and enjoyable sunday lunch here.Good choice of starters, mains and desserts. The staff knew how to service and were friendly and very polite. The decor and surroundings were also very pleasant. The only negative, but personal taste the roasties could have been a bit more crispy, but we will be going back. Excellent value for money

I'm genuinely shocked how this place seems to have such a high review rating. The experience I had there was awful.Parking just looked to be a bit of a free for all with people just sticking their cars in the middle of there, we were lucky to get a spot. If they painted line markings in there then the cars would be parked much more efficiently maximising the space available.Upon entering we weren't sure if you needed to speak to somebody to be seated or just go and take a seat as there didn't appear to be any clear signage. I did go over to find a member of staff to check if that was the case, meanwhile my partner and 2 year old son just went over to a table to be out of the way.The older woman that I spoke to had an awful attitude and was furious that they went over to a table for a second!? She spoke to me in an awful tone as if I should have known how it works there. She did however direct us to a table and told us somebody would be over to take our drinks order and give us menus. We sat at the table for around 10 minutes without anybody seeing us and then some other people were seated next to us and had their drinks taken immediately which annoyed me. They also ordered their food before us.After we ordered food (nothing complicated, 2 burgers and a ciabatta with chicken) we had to wait between 50-60 minutes for it to arrive. My poor 2 year old son was starving and saying he wants his burger. When the food finally arrived, because he'd been waiting that long and was so hungry and his food was too hot for him to eat he had a meltdown. I felt so bad for him, but you're at the mercy of how long it takes for the food to arrive.I wasn't pleased with my burger, it was really greasy and the meat sized too big for me - just a fat chunk of greasy beef. I didn't touch any of the fries so I'm not sure what they're like.My partner seemed to like her ciabatta and my son ate his burger after calming down. The people who had been sat next to us and got their food earlier than us finished their meal and left. They had a little baby girl maybe a year old that made a mess on the floor (understandable, but if our son made a mess like that we always clean it up). The same woman came over cleaning it up commenting on the those particular customers saying "I wouldn't like to see what their house looks like". Quite unprofessional, but I'd come to expect it from her at that point.I don't plan to return at any point in the future. Blundell Arms up the road is a much better shout.Parking: It's a bit of a free for all there. People wasting too much room and parking in the middle of the lot.
