The air pump doesn?t work and no point trying to explain to the guy at the till as he doesn?t understand a word anyone says to him? may aswell have chucked the £1.50 in the bin, 5+ mins to barely get 2psi into 1 tyre!! Use lostock bp air pump theirs works fine, all 4 tyres done to 65psi in less than a min each

I paid for a foam wash at an automatic car wash{platinum car wash} and it wasn't applied, been reported it to the shell staff immediately but the answer was just sorry, thank you that paying for the water.

They blocked the toilets (that wasn't out of order) with bottles of AdBlue and footballs. I believe this is to not let customers use the toilets.

I am writing to express my deepest disappointment concerning the persistent non-availability of toilets at the Shell petrol station located at 42 Stretford Road, Urmston, Manchester M41 9LS. This is a filling station where I usually go due to my job as a taxi driver and therefore I expect that there are accessible conveniences during my working shifts.
I have used this facility on several occasions only to find out that the toilet is not in service. I am extremely inconvenienced by such an occurrence and so are other shoppers who rely heavily on these amenities. Even when I went to speak with them about it, the staff admitted this problem persisted.
Let me say that as one of your consistent customers, I ask you to take an immediate action against this situation. As drivers like myself will tell you, washrooms must be accessible and functional for all of us which does not sit well with Shell?s customer service commitment if such basics can be overlooked.
For this reason, would you please address this issue immediately through your headquarters? Your attention towards such cases would greatly improve the experience of many patrons as it has been before now.
Thank you for promptness upon acting on it; let us get back together for good going forward.

Automatic car washes scratch your car, we know this. However when you have no choice or time, it would be nice to have shampoo dispensed before the rollers attack my paint. Informed staff that the car wash was out of shampoo and was just washing cars with pure water. Two weeks later, it's out of shampoo again. Avoid the car wash unless you want a scratchy wash to be worse than you're already expecting.

Air pressure machine destroyed the valve on my tire when doing a routine tyre pressure top up. Refused to help - take the machine out of service if it is that badly out of order.

Staff always friendly & helpful. Plus you can get good car wash for £3. I know there are cheaper around... but its very conveniently placed.

It's a Shell station like any other of a similar size but the staff are always polite and friendly.I gave 4 out of 5 as the paper towel and glove dispensers near pumps aren't always full and the jet wash stations can be a bit of a mess.
