All interactions were good. Passes the friend and family test with flying colours.

Try to push you into spending more money. 2 for 1 but you cannot get distance and reading glasses on the same prescription. So if you need both you end up with 4 pairs of glasses.

Still a nice place to go for all your eye needs from an eye test to picking glasses,and also anybody on certain benefits have a free eye test and a voucher off glasses !!!.Very friendly staff a smiling face and curtesy goes a long way !!!!.

Today, my wife tried to purchase a new pair of prescription sunglasses but was told her last eye test had expired. She explained that her current glasses were fine and she did not wish to have a new test. As the assistant could not process her order, he asked his supervisor/manager for advice. He informed us that you have to have a new eye test "IT'S THE LAW," when I asked him to explain what law it was he informed me he didn't know and told me to "GOOGLE IT ON MY PHONE " and walked off. The assistant was very helpful, and he googled it and explained what the ruling was. As for his supervisor/manager, he really needs to go on a customer services course as his attitude was disgusting. My wife and I have been using Specsavers / Mr Showman for over 25 years, but from now on, we will be taking our business elsewhere !!!

Very nice and helpful . The shop was a little busy, but there were so many staff members, I felt welcomed and they were patient and attentive with me and everyone else.

Very efficient staff. Seen to promptly on arrival and taken through to the exam are quite quickly. Good choice of frames . You don't have to purchase from them, but you are steered towards choosing your frames as soon as your testing is over. Not exactly cheap.
