I paid a £5 deposit to have my nails done by Cara, I wanted infills as have just moved from elsewhere and have been getting biab for over a year. She refused to do my nails saying she doesn?t remove or infill other peoples work, and then refused to give me my deposit back (2 weeks before the appointment, less than 24 hours after I booked). Disgusting

I am so fussy with my hair and I'm so so so happy with what Hairluxemcr (Maisie) did with it and felt super comfortable too, she is the sweetest. Super underrated. Would recommend. x

Had an appointment booked for 2pm, they cancelled till 3pm then another message from them asking if I could go 3:30. I got there at 3:30 and the girl who was supposed to be doing my hair was sat having her nails done, obviously her nails are more important than her customers. When I finally sat on the chair the girl told me she couldn?t do the cut I wanted ( which I appreciated her honesty) and that she would speak to her colleague who could. I haven?t heard from them since. Not a very professional place, not a good way to run a business sorryService: Hairstyling

Would not recommend - avoid this salon at all costs, specifically services from their Instagram page ?hairluxmcr? which is run by Maisie lees. I had an early morning appointment booked but an hr before I was informed that the appointment had to be rearranged. I live an hr away from the salon so you can imagine how inconvenient this was, it was a weekend and I was just about to set off before being notified of the cancellation. Maisie said she could fit me in later that day, then after leaving me hanging for a whole day, she said the appointment had to be rearranged for another day. The day before the second appointment I messaged Maisie to confirm if I still had the appointment. Maisie ignored my message for a whole day and ignored my calls. On the day of the appointment she messaged me claiming that she had not received my message which confirmed the date that I was available for the appointment and as a result I had not been booked in. I sent that message 5 days prior and during this time Maisie was active on instagram, posting pictures of her work and next available appointments. I find it hard to believe that someone had not used their phone in 5 days. At this point I was very frustrated and upset with the lack of professionalismand asked for a refund of my deposit. After a whole week of chasing, I was finally refunded my deposit. Never experienced anything like this before. To top it off I was offered a gesture of goodwill then the salon failed to follow through on the promise - no surprises there! AVOIDD!!!Service: Balayage
