This is a great gym with lots of equipment both cardio and weights, for those complaining that it's busy then go when it's quiet there is a facility on the app that shows you..I've got no complaints the staff are friendly and so too are the people.

I?ve never been a gym goer and starting was really scary! But having the app with all the how to get started videos really eased my anxiety.its not as muscle mad as I thought and I?m really enjoying the mix of classes and my own tailored workout which i can follow on the app!

Ungodly amount treadmills / bikes, half of which are always empty.
Vast amount of the gym is dedicated to cardio equipment, again, half of which are always empty.
Not a great variation for legs.
More cables would be great.

So pleased I joined this gym. Equipment and exercise space is great, really nice atmosphere, very helpful staff, and Coulton is a fantastic Personal Trainer! Very good value for money.

After coming here for years and it always being a bit rubbish, I went to the Altrincham one which is what a PureGym should be! Stretford there is always something broken, they never turn the Aircon on so it is boiling, the place is dirty, the lockers all dented and broken, a bucket has been on the floor for weeks for a leaking pipe, everything feels like the things other puregyms threw out and ended up here. Sad how it is clearly a popular gym as there aren't many around here so they see no reason to improve it. I'd hope with the revitalisation of Stretford they would put some money into it but I highly doubt it. At the very least bring back the hand sanitiser stations that you removed the second COVID was over, people are gross and don't wash their hands then use all the equipment. If Altrincham was a bit closer I would abandon the Stretford PureGym in the same way it seems to have been abandoned by the company
