All of the 125 guests only had nice words to say about the food. Credit to the chef and to the owners for making our day even more special

Husband ordered via uber eats about £30 worth of food, they only sent one item and the rest was missing. Called the restaurant, they claim it's an uber eats issue as all they can see is the one item. Suspiciously no receipt stapled to the food bag confirming their side of the story. Full payment was taken, not just for the one item. Uber eats no help either and just told us to call restaurant again. No thanks we will just do a charge back and not order from here again. Well done Zulaika, for the sake of a £30 order you've lost our custom.

Just had a takeaway delivery. It was delicious, beautifully spiced, fresh and tasty. Delivered in time (a bit early) we have eaten in there loads, first delivery did not disappoint. Thank you

As Indian restaurants go, I would say this one is around average. It's not the best, but it's OK. I have eaten at far worse places. However, they often have a 25% reduction offer(on food only), and as a result, it saves a few pounds. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and professional. The curries are always nice, but the sundries are sometimes a bit hit and miss. On one occasion, the poppadoms were stale whilst on another visit the keema naan didn't taste right. However, the onion bagees are always spot on. I would also recommend the vegetable fried rice. The drinks are around the standard price with a pint of cobra costing around £5, and a diet coke around £3.25. In all, given the special offers, I would recommend a visit. You can just walk in, but on the busier nights(fri-sun), it would be prudent to make a reservation first.

Absolute disgrace. Just over half the order arrived an hour and half late and was freezing. Spoken to resteraunt and got put on hold so he could answer another phone and take an order. Really rude. Food was disgusting. Please avoid at all cost people

Used for a take away. Really wouldn't recommend. Food was OK, but a little bland and a main meal was missing on the delivery. Phoned to report the missing item and ask when it would arrive. Was told I would have to wait for the next driver to come this way and they couldn't say when this would be. Felt like I was being rudely dismissed and the customer service was poor. Had already waited over an hour for the delivery and it was luke warm on arrival.
This may be cheaper but would prefer to pay more and get better quality and service.

Ordered a takeaway- haven't been to Zulaika for a few years so thought I'd give a go as it's local to me. I thought I'd try the garlic chicken as I tried this at an Indian restaurant in Failsworth on xmas eve and had a craving ever since, i not to be dramatic but what a disappointment, the chicken was dry and had a weird smell it was nothing like i expected, I know all places probably do things slightly different but I was starving and looking forward to it.
I ordered a garlic nan to go with it and this did not taste fresh. Only managed a couple bits of chicken and did not enjoy the texture or smell. Ended up eating the rice with a bit of curry sauce due to my hunger. Would not order from here again based on this unfortunately.
