We were staying within walking distance and went for Sunday lunch, which was very good. Returned later in the week and the meal was even better. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

We booked a table here following a local walk. The barman was very friendly and very knowledgeable. The place filled up from 5pm - the atmosphere was great with all the background chatting. The food and the drinks were fantastic - we could not fault it. We’ve been here once before and we’ll visit again.
The Oddies - as it is known locally - has a light, uncluttered feel, with wood burning stoves adding an element of cosiness. The appealing, daily changing, menu offers tasty, locally sourced ingredients; "British food with a modern twist" MICHELIN guide inspector.
