Our second purchase of sofas from SCS and we were extremely satisfied with the attention and the choices. Ravinder was most helpful, which is what we have come to expect from SCS, and now you even get coffee!

Have been very patient and understanding for several months but it's now getting boring leaving negative reviews.All we would like is a carpet worth the thousands of pounds we have spent and for this complaint to be dealt with efficiently.I'm sure the Stockport staff are fed up of seeing us - someone needs to take responsibility immediately rather than fobbing us off.Have already sent a photo of my review to the Social Media team, but this hasn't been responded to either.

The worst company around for customer service and product quality. We have spent almost £8000 with SCS on a LazyBoy and carpeting our home. Both products falling apart after a few months. Boycott this company and go somewhere where your custom is appreciated.

We bought a floor model sofa a couple of weeks ago and were told we would get the delivery date and finance info within 24 hrs. They never contacted us and we were unable to contact the shop where we actually bought it from, and apparently, neither were their customer service dept. We finally got a delivery date for a Tuesday and told they would contact us the Sunday before with a time but nothing! Finally received a phone call from the delivery company about 20 minutes before they delivered it!! Probably would not buy from again due to poor communication.

A joke of a company. Bought my flooring in May with delivery on the 21st of September. Took a week off work to receive the flooring. Kept calling just a few days prior delivery to make sure I had a time and date, they kept reassuring me was going to be delivered on the 21st, I even drove to the store in Bolton where Patrick in the flooring section reassured me and where I decided to purchase an additional item leaving 50 pound deposit. That was the 4th and I cancelled that item on the 6th.!On the 23rd I rang up and they said they are out of stock. Rearranged that the flooring will be in store in the 26th. Went to the store that said NO we haven?t received it will be now after bank holiday. Yesterday I receive an email saying the new date will be the 15th of September.I?m still not able to move to my new house because of them!Please please go local. Buy at your local store and help family businesses do not give your hard earned money to companies where nobody takes accountability for their actions. It?s always someone else fault. The suppliers, the vendors, the delivery team, the war. You stay hours on hold trying to get an answer over the phone and nobody cares.I always heard the company was a joke on their customer service and products having worked in retail years ago.I?m still waiting to receive 50 pound back from Bolt after 3 weeks.Francesco Ciraolo

Never left a negative review before but I've run out of options to be honest.When my partner and I first went into the Stockport showroom we spoke to another couple who said 'make sure the sofa will fit through your front door' as they hadn't checked and were now looking at having their front room window removed to get it in.So this was the first thing we discussed with Darren at Stockport (who in general was great tbf), and the model we chose he said there wouldn't be an issue as the backs came off so it would fit into our house no problem, so nothing to worry about. Measurements were fine for it to fit into our living room etc with plenty of space as well. We never thought any more of it.After around 10 weeks of waiting we were told it was due to be delivered on July 18th. They turned up with the sofa and guess what, it wouldn't fit.And so started me trying to chase the Stockport branch for nearly the last two weeks.The issue now being for us to get the sofa in the house an upholsterer will have to come and put it together in our house, which is fine, but at a cost of £200. This is not something I am at all prepared to pay as this was entirely through no fault of our own, as I said at the start we were told there was nothing to worry about in regards to getting it in the house, it was the first thing we raised when looking at sofas.In the near two weeks that have followed since we couldn't get the sofa delivered I've heard nothing from the Stockport store, no calls, no emails, nothing. I know the store is currently being refurbished but surely issues are still being dealt with?I've rang the customer service line on 6/7 separate occasions since (I've lost count) and several times I've been told a call back has been requested so I can speak to someone to resolve this situation, no one has called, not even emailed. The only communication has been what I have instigated each time, barring the upholsterers calling me twice to get the building of my sofa booked in but I've had to explain the situation to them stating that I am not prepared to pay £200 for an issue that is not of my doing.It's not helped that every single time I've called the customer service line I've had to explain the whole story again. Apparently the regional manager was emailed asking to get in touch with me a few days back - I'm still yet to hear anything from anyone at SCS 12 days on. I know on at least two other occasions I've been told call backs have been scheduled for me and no one has been in touch.All I want is my sofa, the lack of communication has been absolutely disgraceful.
