The place is hardly open and a two month wait for an appointment is a joke - supposedly the opening hours were reduced due to lack of demand but there is always at least a 15 minute queue whenever you go in.

I wanted to open an account with Santander but I had to wait a week without any answer.. when I went to the branch in stockport, the agent mentioned that she scanned my documents but suddenly after few days I received a mail asking me to upload my documents and since then I?ve been uploading my documents everyday (because I?m receiving the same mail everyday) I didn?t receive any mail saying if my documents are accepted or they need more information.. I had to go to the branch and explain my problem twice..They wasted my time waiting for an answer however I succeeded to open an account the same day in another bank where the agent was very nice and helpful. If I had the ability to put ? 5 stars I wouldn?t hesitate.. Une banque des incompétents.

Called to book an appointment, automated message sends you to the website... that I'd already been on and doesn't provide the service I require. Poor customer service.

Santandar need to wake up since they shut down all local branches the surge in demand at the main branches is un believable ..with that said . put the staff at the tills don't pretend nothing wrong .and leave long queue s ..if u unable to solve I got half hour ..spare will sort out u melons

I am always pleased to go to Santander as the staff are lovely and so helpful. I changed my phone and was having trouble getting my mobile banking set up. I was advised to go too a branch so I went to the Stockport one. I did my banking and then a male ( possibly the manager) took me aside and sorted it out in no time at all.
