Prices are getting out of hand and every lunch time (literally between 12pm and 3pm) the coffee machine is being cleaned for about half an hour - maybe try doing it at the start or the end of the shift?

Shocking Bullying and Harassment Customer and Trading Manager- Nights
In over 30 years of work I have never experienced management like it. It was like going back to the 90's with making staff cry and feel incompetent. Moving goal posts, no praise.
Completely unrealistic targets for managers to hit and not enough staff to complete all basic tasks. Job would be tough but better with different leadership in store.
Made to stay after shift has finished as tasks not completed-due to impossible list to complete I completed 10 weeks here. Sainsburys you should be a ashamed for how you allow staff to be treated

I noticed that the shelves were dirty, which was concerning. I also bought a pack of fruit that became damaged after just one day, even though it still had two days remaining before its expiry date.

Fined for being a bit over time in car park even though we had shopped in the store and manager refused to help. We?ve spent a lot of money with Sainsbury?s over the years. Very disappointing.

Shocked .. disappointed
I have used this since it opened, it always had great selection.
Today I actually complained. Which is not like me but something had to be said.
I waited for to be served while staff chatted, fair enough. The papers had not been put out. To get a morning paper was way more complex than it had to be.
Customer service and efficiency and order are severely lacking.
I would suggest a revision of management and revisit order of priorities.

Unfortunately the layout throws me and twice and I needed assistance to find basic things.
Went i went to pay, there was only one cashier on a till who was lovely.
The self service was cram packed and two staff on it chatting away .
Even the fuel station is self service.
Sainsbury's was always traditional store with excellent customer service. Now it's lost its character.

Great food and lovely staff. Quick efficient service

Took me 1 hour to get out of the car park yesterday (07/01/2025). This was due to ongoing emergency gas works. Don?t bother visiting Sainsbury?s until these works are complete, unless you like sitting in car parks for a very long time.

Car park invariably busy. Limited on-site food preparation and checkouts prone to failure. Usually need to queue to checkout (I don't use the scan as you go kit).

Discontinued loads of vegan products that I needed, including:
Plant pioneers coleslaw (no alternative).
Plant based mince pies, xmas (no alternative).
Plant pioneers choc cake.
Plant pioneers cupcakes.
Granovita vegetable pate (no alternative).
Plant pioneers gravy.
Monty bojangles vegan truffles.
Both brands of frozen parsnips are coated in honey.
I have to go to Tesco to get these now. Shame on you Sainsburys!
