Not sure if it's this store or the other one in stockport doing the home deliveries too my address. But the past 3 times I've been extremely impressed!! Only on the first order did I not get the main item needed. But did get plenty of other item. Where as other stores limit certain items you can buy to something stupid like 3 sainsburys hasn't. They also stock in a pure juice no others seem too. All I want to do is to be able to eat healthy. I have mobility problems & some other health issues so home delivery is a must for me. I've been able to buy certain items for my monthly shop ( as that's how I'm paid) & get them all. With other stores I was being limited on the stuff I actually needed & forced to buy stuff that wasn't good for me to get to minimum spend & then on day of delivery all the health items I'd only ordered for were always out of stock. Well not here im able to load up on healthy items in bulk & get them also. On top of that I had really begrudge the extreme price increase other stores had made on fresh fruit on veg but with sainsburys at least I'm getting veg that's the same price as other companies but it's coming Twice the size & it's shelf life is Amazing . Last order I had several lettuces and they lasted 3 weeks in the fridge so I was able to eat them all. None were binned. I've only had a few of their own brand stuff so far like the Hot chocolate but it was great. I've invested in their cat litter which was low on stars but can't be worse than asdas which is why I've been buying expensive brands for a while but their quality has gone down. I'm so impressed. I booked this over a week in advance for when I get paid & was worried there might be none the items by then nut every single item arrived. Oh & a extra bonus despite I need the cheaper delivery which can spread over 4/5 hour time limit. Guy arrived first thing 6:30am this morning. And was a absolute star..I jad so many heavy items to throw in stairs cupboard which is now filled to the brim. EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM SAINSBURYS DELIVERY!!! Please don't ever change this level. Keep it coming with good quantities of needed & healthy items

WORST SHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN IN !!!!
MINIMUM STARS I CAN GIVE IS 1 BUT ONLY DESERVES 0.
TODAY: MILK LEAKING ON SHELVING & FLOOR STAFF JUST LEFT IT.
TRIED TO ASK STAFF RE UN PRICED BREAD BUT BOTH WERE BUSY CHATTING ON PHONE ONE RE WHAT TIME GOING OUT TONIGHT & THE OTHER TALKING HOLIDAYS .
NO ONE AS USUAL AT TILL & OVER CHARGED ME ON 2 REDUCED ITEMS & HAD TO GO BACK .
ALWAYS PROBLEMS & ALL STAFF UN POLITE & WITH ATTITUDES.
SAINSBURY'S MUST BE LOSING A FORTUNE HERE AS THIS IS A THIEVES PARADISE AS ALL STAFF ARE CONSTANTLY TALKING ON THERE PHONES .
WE WILL NO BE COMING HERE AGAIN.

Went last week to the store, had a pleasant experience they have a wonderful manager ? called (SAL) she was very helpful and polite ? also smelt like roses ? she did, would recommend people to give this store a second chance as in I have read a few bad comments on here but I do truly believe she has turned the store around. (Shame about alot of thieves tho) see them all the time ????????????????

It's convenient in it's location but otherwise kind of lacking. The prices are higher than other similar stores around Stockport and the selection is surprisingly lacking to be honest. For what is a decent sized store there are quite a number of things on my regular shop they just don't seem to do. There are never any staff at the til, they're always wandering around stacking shelves talking into their headsets to spooky shadow men in the backrooms I assume. This isn't really a negative either but I always feel like this place should be a 24 hour shop. Does anyone else get that vibe? Whatever. I'd recommend you go elsewhere if you're trying to save money, otherwise it's a fine shop, it'll probably have what you're after. Unless you're after dairylea dunkers like me.

I come to the store every day for 5years and today the girls work in bearkery iasked her how come nothing left from the shelves she was very rude and wasn't good to me after 5yeras coming to the store am taxi driver black cab work on the station and we buy me and my other 4drivers from the store...you lost 5 customer we are not coming to ur store any more and we have told all other taxi driver about her attitude with me ...so shame on u don't respect our custmes...Tysser hammadI spent mimumm 150 amonth in this store and u can check my card how much I spent in the store...Bad service in good store...Sorry u lost us

I would give 0 stars if possible, The majority of the staff are very judgemental and make fun of customers which I find very funny how they are working in a dead end job at a shop, they have 0 people skills and customers pay their stupid low wages, they should think that before judging as they wouldn?t have a job if it was not for customers. I would consider employing new staff that will keep customers coming back, not making them disappear, I will not be going back that for sure.

Sainsbury's at Stockport Rail Station is a convenient stop for commuters or anyone in need of a quick shop. Despite its smaller size compared to typical Sainsbury's stores, it offers a surprisingly good selection of items. You can find everything from grab-and-go snacks to basic groceries, making it perfect for last-minute shopping or picking up a few essentials on the way home.The prices are reasonable, and I've found several deals that are comparable to larger stores. It's a testament to Sainsbury's commitment to providing value for money even in a smaller, more convenient format.However, I must note a recurring issue during my visits: an unpleasant smell near the refrigerated section. It's not clear what causes this odor, but it can be off-putting when browsing the chilled products. I hope the store management addresses this issue soon, as it detracts from an otherwise positive shopping experience.Despite this drawback, I would still recommend the Sainsbury's at Stockport Rail Station for its impressive range of products and competitive prices. If they can resolve the smell issue, it would be a near-perfect place for quick and convenient shopping.Great selection for a small store, reasonable prices, but an unpleasant smell near the fridges needs to be addressed.

Not 1 type of vegan/dairy free cheese ? Loads of options for dairy cheese. Would be so nice if 2 of those could make space for vegan cheese.
