Took a while for the food to come and when it did it was very dry. The pie came with chips but also had sweet potato fries on top of the pie. The peas had to go back they were one solid mass

Well I have probably eaten in most pubs in Stockport however never came across this one so I was very intrigued when was asked to go out for a meal there.
Staff were really friendly,
young chef stood out as he was absolutely fantastic explaining me without any effort vegan options I could have from carvery as he surely had good knowledge of their food
and super friendly so I was really happy ????. Food was delicious, it was a bit long waiting time for drinks however weather was amazing so they were really busy. I will definitely come back again ??. Thank you so much ?

Great pub! Sunday roast was amazing! All meat and vegs done perfectly! Nicely situated and quite few parking spaces. Prices decent.

I would like to thank all staff at The Puss in Boots where I held my husbands wake yesterday. The service we received from Nick and the team was perfect, as always!
As this has been our 'local' for the past 20 years, it was lovely to be able to say raise a glass to our memories of him at a place we cherished together.

Lovely pub with a really good carvery. There were plenty of meat choices, and the veg was cooked to perfection. My only gripe is (as with all carveries). If you upgrade to a larger meal, you don't really get much more meat than standard, and I wish they wouldn't carve the meat so thinnnnnn. Also £10.50 for half a lager shandy and a Pepsi. Bit extortionate. However, a lovely pub and Sunday carvery is gorgeous ....gets packed out, so be prepared to wait or book before you go.

Anyone who has been to the Puss in Boots will know that you can't get much better.
Staff are lovely, landlord gets to know all of his customers and makes them feel welcome.
Food is hearty and to a good standard.
Always clean and tidy.
Worth a visit.

A nearby post rehearsal for a group of us. Unfortunately, clashes with Quiz night which is partway through when we arrive. Quizmaster microphone/speaker very loud also so we use covered area outside which can be heated. Service is fantastic and although I've rarely had food there, friends say it's very good and well presented.
Parking: Gets busy after 9pm
Wheelchair accessibility: Level entrances throughout.
