Went to Poynton as Buxton is closed for refurbishment this week. Food is very similar, new menu and prices have gone up again. Staff did not know how their offers worked.

Pizza Express Poynton is lovely. The staff are all friendly and very professional. The food hits the spot every time. The app builds up rewards fast. Great discounts for Blue Light Card holders too.

I ordered a pizza and what I thought was a bottle of coke only to find that when it turned up I got a can of coke for the price of £3:55 for a coke, what gives them the right to charge £3:55 for a can of drink absolute disgrace should not be allowed, pizza was not all that either.

We enjoyed a nice visit for an evening meal whilst we were staying locally.
Pleased as there was availability and the service / food was prompt.
That said, this meal was almost £60 for a couple of pizzas, soft drinks and doughball portions. Obviously the price of everything is going up!

It's ok, but I don't think it's the right place for me. You are limited to only a fairly small menu. If you fancy a deep pan, fully loaded spicy meat with salami and pepperoni pizza, you are out of luck, you won't get it. Even the fairly common "Hawaiian" pizza that many people love, including me, is not an option. The food is good, but I would like more choice.
Parking: There is only three parking spaces at the back of the building.

Went here with my friend for dinner earlier on today and the service was honestly amazing. The server greeted us first thing as soon as we walked in and gave us plenty of time to order without rushing us. The food was honestly one of the best I have ever been too and everything was so hygienic and clean, the environment was calm and quiet and our server was so polite and respectful. We will both be coming again for sure.

Good pizzas as they have always been, but atmosphere-wise, Pizza Express has turned into Happy Eater these days. If you have small kids and you like eating at McDonalds then doubtless you'll enjoy it, but for everyone else, no. Damned expensive for a bit of bread with cheese and tomato on top as well. £1 worth of ingredients sold for £13? Now come on.

Food was what you would expect from a good chain restaurant. Great GF options. We had the gluten free dough balls (highly recommend!), GF pizza, and Leggera (love the lower cals and what an interesting concept). Really, giving 5 stars for the service which was outstanding. The front of house/server we had on Monday evening was friendly and helpful; we were greeted warmly upon arrival, asked if we had any allergies, offered the ingredients booklet, and was attentive throughout our meal without being too much. I?d come back to this location because of the service.Dietary restrictions: Could tell they take allergies really seriously. Menu has great gluten free options.

The waiter was lovely however the portion sizes were tiny and so expensive compared to other restaurantsSadly after many years of frequenting I don?t think we will be returning, just not worth the money.
