Employee at till asked for email in return for receipt ( illegal to ask for a personal email for a receipt)

Waste of time, never got anything in the size you want unless your a 22 or 18, overpriced and rubbish quality, rude staff who pressure you for an email receipt when it's faster and easier for a paper one

I visited this shop on Thursday with a web return and was dealt with by the loveliest young lady, Caitlin. She was extremely patient with me and I would like to say you are very lucky to have staff like her. I work in retail myself and know exactly how important good customer service is. She is a credit to your shop ?

Zero customer service skills. Staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. A young lady at the till couldn?t even crack a smile.
Changing rooms are closed unnecessarily then they have the audacity to say sale items are exchange only??? So we can?t try clothes on and on top of that it?s exchange only? What a ridiculous policy!!
@newlook sort your staff out! And employ/train people with better communication skills!

The staff are really friendly and helpful. I've found that I'm never kept waiting too long. The store is airy and spacious, and the clothing is really well set out, so you don't have to spend ages looking for anything. However, there is always a member of staff on hand to help with any queries.
I really enjoy visiting the Peel Centre store.

Visited to return an online order and the young woman serving me was bordering on rude. She barked at me about a QR code and then muttered something and dismissed me. I don't think she was having a bad day because she was happy talking to her pal in the queue. I haven't been in this store for a while and after this hostile exchange I wont be returning any time soon. I also overheard her deal with a telephone enquiry and again she was unhelpful. I've worked in retail many years and this is unacceptable conduct.

I gave it one start because there was no other option. They are zero in Customs Service.If you buy something and it is not in your shopping bag. You have also paid for it. So when you complain about it, the staff there rudely tells you that we can't do anything. WHY YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING.? I pay for it. Will you leave1 penny? No....Newlook satff Very unprofessional .

Really disappointed with New Look. My elderly mother was gifted a skirt in the wrong size for a Christmas present, we did not have the receipt as was a gift and the person who gifted it does not have the receipt. Called up and was told they cannot do anything without a receipt even though skirt is in pristine condition along with tags. Spoke to the manager and she was very unhelpful, like the computer says no. Says they cannot even exchange for something else. Really upset. I understand it is their policy but whwatver happened to assessing situation case by case. My mother has health issues and is now stuck with a skirt that does not fit. Will not be using new look again after long being a loyal shopper. I work for Dunelm customer serviced and know you can override policy and exchange range the item if the case permits.
