I'm not too sure if they still train their newbies!
I had to sort something in person during my break, but a bloke called gitin who happened to work in this branch chose to jump the queue, disturbing the customers, claiming that he?s solving a customer issue, and wasting everybody's time even his colleagues.
That was unnecessary, and rather annoying.

Haseena at Halifax Stockport was incredibly helpful when my little brother lost access to his online banking. She handled the situation quickly, confidently, and with complete clarity. She knew exactly what to do, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Not even capable of giving a one star as the employees were very unhelpful and snobby. Been waiting for the last 30 mins but still not been seen. Only 2 staff at the cashier and a long queue going out of the door. No one at the help and advice desk. Very frustrating for customers as they were getting annoyed.

My wife opened a new account and provided the branch with address letter to make sure they type the correct address, but still sent the card and all her information to the wrong address. Very poor service.

Very mean lady at the counter, 1st lady told my elderly mother she had to have two identifications instead of the usual one so we had to go home and come back out again, then the 2nd lady never asking for two identifications, total waste of time and petrol. No apologies. I asked to her if she could speed up as my mother also needed to go to another bank which was closing earlier than Halifax, she randomly thought I asked her to skip steps and procedures, no! I asked her to speed up. She took half an hour in the end! Very slow, not very understanding and cold the staff here.

Applying for a Halifax mortgage and our conveyances asked us to certify our ID.We both bank with Halifax, but the lady in the Stockport branch at the customer services desk outright refused to help us!We then drove to the Ashton Under Lyne branch where the lady at the customer services desk was more than happy to help us and sort it for us.

Second time the ATM deposit machines have failed to register my deposits. Telephoned 24hr banking to be told that I have to visit the branch in person as they could not speak to them directly!!!
