Wonderful. This made my week as earlier in the week I?d gone to stretford arndale for Greenhalgh?s only do find it had shut down.
They?re great as they do cheese pasties (no onions!). Not cheese and onion pasties just cheese pasties! Also cheese and jalapeño pasties.
Anyway I was gutted the stretford one had closed down. Was walking down the road in Stockport yesterday and turned a corner and saw this.
I went in and bought the last two cheese pasties and a cheese and jalapeño pastie and went and ate them near the bridge over the Mersey.
I also bought a bottle of Pepsi max.
I?ll go back as this is now my nearest Greenhalghs.

I always get a smile and a friendly hiya when I go here for my breakfast after a long night shift. Pleasant staff and decent service. I have read through the older reviews and have to say this is not my experience in the last 18 months or so, I agree the price is higher than greggs but the product is far superior and actually hot, not lightbulb warmed. Also I can't get enough of the Chicken and Veg Broth, don't ever get rid of it.

Good old fashioned bakery, you pay a bit extra but as they say you get what you pay for. A few days ago l left something very important and valuable. By the time l realised the shop had closed for the day. I rang the head office they rang the manager and l got a text early the next day. Nothing had been touched. The staff are both helpful and extremely honest. A rare find.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide doorway and Wheelchair Accessible.

Chrissie who works in the Stockport branch was very passive aggressive with her lack of customer service skills and always tries and succeeded once in overcharging me for sandwiches because she claims that they charge extra for Branston Pickle even though it's included in the price, making a £3.90 sandwich (which is advertised in the shop) to £4.30, I know this is correct because I have spoken to Ady the floating manager who confirmed this. I have challenged Chrissie on this and told her what her manager Ady had said but she just exclaimed that she has spoken to the manager as well, even though the sign in the clearly states the correct price. I have also formally complained about this malpractice which is clearly illegal because it's called up pricing at the till which you are not allowed to do but they haven't got back to me in at all. Good service is hard to find.

Bought 2 bacon baps for an extortionate £6.60 ! Which were absolutely disgusting. Bacon like cardboard. Don't know how they think it's OK to sell food that horrendous. Took one bite and unable to eat the restI WON'T be returning!!!

Good produce although a bit pricey. The elderly silver haired gentleman that works there rudely bleats to the customer if you bring a £20 note to buy £5 worth of goods. Here is an idea, get a decent float organised. Also they run out of what you want sometimes at 2pm two hours before they close. Total lack of organisation.
