We recently visited this bed shop and were assisted by Gabe, who was truly outstanding. He greeted us warmly, took the time to understand our needs, and provided detailed information about different mattresses. His knowledge, patience, and professionalism really stood out, and we left feeling very confident in the advice he gave us. Gabe deserves recognition for his excellent customer service.
However, our overall experience was unfortunately overshadowed by the way another staff member treated us at closing time. At exactly 6:00 pm, while we were still finalizing our discussion with Gabe, this staff member abruptly approached us and very bluntly said words to the effect of: ?The shop is closed, you need to leave right now.? There was no courtesy, no polite reminder, and no acknowledgement that we were in the middle of being helped. His tone was harsh, dismissive, and frankly disrespectful.
We completely understand that shops have closing times and staff need to finish their day, but there is a professional and courteous way to handle these situations. A polite statement such as, ?I?m sorry to interrupt, but we are closing now ? would you like us to continue this discussion tomorrow?? would have been far more appropriate. Instead, the manner in which we were spoken to made us feel rushed out and unappreciated as customers.
This was very disappointing, especially after receiving such excellent service from Gabe. First impressions matter, but so do last impressions, and unfortunately, the rudeness of that staff member left us with a negative overall feeling about the store.

We ordered a new mattress from the Stockport store. The woman who helped us was extremely helpful and friendly. The reason I have taken one star off is because on their website there?s a lot of discounted mattresses which weren?t available in store. We obviously wanted to try the mattresses so we didn?t want to risk buying one unseen.

Really happy with our purchase at dreams, prices were reasonable and a great selection to choose from; staff were great especially Gabe who made us feel right at home and was very attentive. 5/5 will be back

Gabe helped me choose the right mattress using the sleep match machine and offered us drinks and good advice as well as a fancy pillow. It was a good and friendly service.

Popped into Dreams Stockport to look at our options on a memory foam mattress we were professionally helped by a sales assistant by the name of Ta Ha,he new his stuff for sure and sold us with his help the mattress just right for us Ta Ha was friendly helpful and very knowledgeable he gave us to new pillows a mattress cover a warranty and sent us away very satisfied thanks for your help.
