I made a purchase of a coffee table which I changed my mind after four days went to the store to cancel the order but was refused. They saying they only allow two days of cooling off period there are arguing it states on the website but I went physically in the store so I don?t see why I should read the terms and condition in the website when I?m making the purchase in store I looked at the terms & conditions no where does it say You cannot get a refund or change your mind to cancel an order within two days.order wait time was 5 weeks I tried cancelling after 4 days
Please Avoid
Manager was the one refusing ..it shows how much he knows about his terms & conditions
I have got my money back through charge back with the credit card company

Your delivery service (Humber Services) are quite literally SHOCKING as for the 4th time in 1 week I am booking yet another day off work (unpaid) because they?ve had yet another vehicle breakdown?firstly can I suggest they look into getting another more reliable vehicle that keeps getting into all sorts of mischief and also maybe prioritise the people who keep getting let down by these buffoon?s and use an alternative delivery company who actually do their job properly.

We bought a teal chair from DFS in Stockport, the person who sold it to us was lovely (sadly I can?t remember his name!) and offered us a drink while he chatted through our options :) the chair arrived on time, and I love it!
The guys also set it up for us in the living room.

DFS Stockport what a joke. DFS as a company what a joke! Purchased sofa in nov for guaranteed Xmas delivery. It didn?t turn up on the day! Customer service absolutely shocking! Jackie and Mick waste of time in the Stockport branch, both rude and liars. Jackie said Said they would cancel our order 2 weeks ago and have only just done it today so clearly it was to keep their extra bonuses and commissions. Mick was also rude on the phone and told us he wouldn?t help. There?s a groups on social media about DFS just take a look for yourselves how bad they are!

Paid for sofa in full.
Waited a week after the promised delivery date to find its not even been booked in. Scheduled a delivery date with the store.
DFS cancelled the delivery with excuse after excuse.
I now have a fight to get all my money back.
Avoid.

STAY WELL CLEAR of this place placed an order on the 9th of November for a corner sofa and a swivel chair and was promised delivery in time for Christmas with the corner sofa. It was meant to arrive on the 21st of December which it didn?t rang up customer services and they said they didn?t know where it was.Then received a phone call from Jackie at the Stockport branch she told me to wait 4 days till everything reopens after Christmas. Went into store on the 27th and spoke to Mick the manager he was very unhelpful didn?t seem to care that I had nothing to sit on over Christmas and I asked him if I could borrow something from store he replied with a aggressive no and it?s not the store?s policy to do that. Come the 30th we had had enough of the lies form customer service and the store so I went in to cancel my order.I was greeted by Jackie and I told her I wanted to cancel my order at the time she was eating something so as we spoke about the cancellation she was spitting out food in my direction we agreed the cancellation and my money would be back with me in 7-10 days.well 10 days have passed so again I spoke with mick the manager obviously you?d expect myself to be angry so I did speak to him angerily he also had a tone and refused to help and but the phone down on me I still haven?t received my refund
MICK and JACKIE certainly need some form of retraining or there probably best working in the warehouse they?re customer service skills are appalling

Purchased a single chair bed over 7 years ago from this store and after 3 years it had to be recovered as the material (fake leather) had all cracked and had begun to peel off. Fast forward another 4 years or so and the same issue has happened again but I assume the product is no longer in warranty. Very poor quality fabric that has put me off buying any other product from DFS, the chair bed was an expensive purchase and it now looks extremely unsightly and is shredding flakes of material all over our carpet! We will either have to recover ourselves our take to a recycling centre!
