Currys Stockport.. how times have changed. Been here many times over the past 20 years, but on my visit today it's put me off coming back. So giving it a 1 star seems too generous.
Walked around, not seeing too many staff. Although passing by me was someone who I could say was the manager, or a senior member of the team. She was wearing a grey suit over the purple uniform. She couldn't manage eye contact, a smile or simple hello.
Found the store quite messy, especially around the gaming and vision areas.

Went into the Stockport store today and purchased a fridge freezer & washer dryer. Was unsure on the products and asked a gentleman named Paul if he could assist/advise us. Paul was extremely helpful, approachable and polite?. He is a credit to your company. Thanks Paul for all your help

Went to buy washing machine this morning 6/7/25 only to be told because live in a first floor flat won't deliver even though I explained never had problem before Currys had delivered washing machine and fridge freezer before but answer was still no so lost a sale and did me a favour as went somewhere else and got it cheaper

I've visited Currys in Stockport several times, as it's the closest store to my home. I haven?t always found the staff to be particularly helpful, and on a previous visit I was quite disappointed with the attitude of some team members.
However, on two occasions, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Fizz ? and what a difference she makes! She's such a lovely and helpful lady, always patient and genuinely willing to assist. Yesterday, I was lucky to see her in the store again. I was unsure about which item to choose, but Fizz took her time with me, offered great advice, and helped me walk away with exactly what I needed ? and at a great price too!
Fizz is a real asset to the team, and her excellent customer service made my shopping experience so much better.

An update. Even better than last time. The problem I had was that I am a Luddite, they didn't mock me for my lack of simple knowledge, just pushed the key and fixed it.
Ten second service. Brilliant.
Quick efficient service, knowledgeable staff, plenty of choice.
