Overall the food was tasty and has promise but there were a lot of issues behind that:
- The menu was tiny - just 2 starters and 4 large plates. The table next to us walked out as the choice was so limited.
- I?m all for paying a lot for great food but the pricing really is extortionate - £26 for two tiny pieces of lamb (literally 4 mouthfuls). Come on guys, even central London wouldn?t charge that!
- There was only us and 2 other tables but the food was pretty slow and served tepid, so I wonder how they?ll cope with a full restaurant.
- The vibe isn?t quite right? it?s trying to be trendy but just feels cold and uncomfortable (especially for the aforementioned price tag!).
- Service was friendly but everyone seemed a little on edge!
Overall I wouldn?t recommend or return sadly.

A warm welcome and delicious food - so innovative and comforting. Fresh ingredients and ice cream that moved my mum to tears (in a good way). Best of luck to them!
