Absolutely AVOID ordering online via the app or website.
Stockport were responsible for organising 2 items out of 9 I ordered to decorate my daughter?s bedroom, As a surprise, upon returning from a week?s holiday for working hard to pass her GCSEs. This needed to be finished by Tuesday evening 19th August as she arrives home early Wednesday morning 20th August.
But I can?t even start it because I?m chasing the paint!! For now 72 hours!! B&Q cannot get through.
Contact forms via the app and website have been sent x 8. No response.
These 9 items were Ordered on 8th August and were supposed to arrived on Wed 13th August.
I?ve now rang 16 times in 72 hours and NO-ONE answers the phone! It rings and rings and rings. B&Q customer services also tried calling and NO-ONE answers the phone.
Furthermore, 6 items were sold via B&Qs verified sellers. 2 x items from KavDistributions - 1 item missing and yet again no response to emails sent by B&Q agents. Supposed to reply within 24 hours to these emails but it?s now 72 hours!!
2 x other verified sellers involved in this order but again - only able to be contacted by email and no response in 72 hours!!
Apparently, this is normal policy. No calls or direct contact by phone. All chasing and information enquiries are doing by email.
So if like me, your items are somewhere in the B&Q abyss - you?ve absolutely no chance of resolving without getting very frustrated, stressed and wasting our time.
I left the phone ringing and ringing for 13 minutes and 39 seconds upon my 17th call attempt and suddenly I got a voicemail answer!! Left a message just as I?m typing this review. Let?s see if a response is gained about the paint!!???
Then I can chase the skirting, the door, the mirror, the vinyl and wallpaper!!
Save yourself the hassle, money and overwhelming frustration and order from AMAZON through Prime!! Deliveries, communication and service with B&Q needs serious overhaul to succeed long term into the future.
The b&q company is going to be surpassed and buried within 2-5 years unless they seriously adapt their service, marketing, PR and policies.

Something for everyone and usually bargains to be had if you look for discounted items. Staff are helpful and good sized carpark, but trolleys are left by customers all over the place.
The garden centre has a good variety of plants although some are priced higher then you would get at b and m.
The prices have crept up lately so just double check online with other retailers before adding to your basket.

Prices not good, catch you with good prices for the large purchases and make it all back on the small stuff. The same is still true.

Big shout to to Jo and Megs and the other gentlemen who helped us with our clearance furniture while we sorted a van and leant us the tools in store needed to get it home. We are super happy with it - thanks so much for your help.

Absolutely hopeless. The website clearly showed 31 sheets of plywood in stock. I made the trip over --only to find the bay completely empty. I asked at the trade desk, where the staff member confirmed on her computer that, yes, 31 sheets were supposedly in stock? but offered no help whatsoever, simply telling me to ?find someone on the floor.? So I tracked down someone near the timber section. He took a quick look and informed me the sheets were all stored up high and I?d have to return the next morning when a forklift could bring them down.
So I came back the next day--and you can probably guess what happened. Still no plywood in sight. This time, I spoke to a couple of more experienced guys near the saw, who told me there was none in stock at all, and that they?d already asked for the system to be corrected.
Complete waste of time and petrol. It takes me half an hour to get to Stockport. This level of disorganisation is unacceptable.

We had such a lovely experience at B&Q today thanks to two absolute stars: Paul and Lozze. We had lost our voucher and honestly thought there was no way to retrieve it. But these two went above and beyond ? they spent nearly an hour with so much patience and kindness trying to find it for us.
Not only were they professional, but they were genuinely warm, caring, and determined to help. What truly made the experience even more special was their sense of humour and positive attitude ? they kept us laughing and smiling the whole time. They managed to turn what could have been a frustrating moment into something fun and lighthearted!
In a world where good customer service is becoming rare, Paul and Lozze reminded us that kindness and dedication still exist.
They truly turned a stressful situation into a heartwarming one, and we left the store feeling so grateful. Massive thanks to both of them ? you made our day! ??

I visited here a couple of weeks back. I was in the timber area looking at wood, when a guy in an orange apron came walking right at me saying ?do you want decking?? I managed to get the first punch in, but what a terrible example of customer service.

Excellent Store and Garden centre, but the lady on customer service Was a bit rude to my grandad when he asked a simple question when she had a computer computer in front of her so that?s why I didn?t get the 5 stars other then that I am happy everything else

We used Valsper ?you are my sunshine? yellow paint for our front door. I was painting over black so used white undercoat and three coats of paint. It looks fab and the paint was really easy to use and went on well. I used both a roller and brush.
