I was extremely disappointed with the customer service and the attitude displayed by the staff on 12th July 2025. While I acknowledge that I entered the store exactly at closing time, I still expected a basic level of courtesy and professionalism.
Instead, the staff member continued serving another customer after closing and, in the process, made me feel humiliated. He drew attention to the fact that it was one minute past eight, even though the delay was only because he was still assisting another customer. Rather than handling the situation discreetly or with understanding, his manner felt unnecessarily authoritative and lacking in politeness.
Overall, the experience left me feeling unwelcome. I hope the store considers providing additional training in customer service and respectful communication so that all customers are treated with dignity, regardless of the time.

AVOID. A lack of common sense from power driven staff. Refused a return because I?d opened the plastic bag containing the item. Refused based on not saleable and ?store discretion? went to another Argos store who accepted the return no issues. I will be sticking to Amazon going forward.

Bought an item that was faulty. Took it back and they replaced it without issue. The lady could not have been more helpful. Despite the item being faulty (not Argos' fault) the experience was excellent

Staff are very friendly and lovely to deal with. I bought a TV which was damaged and they sorted it out for me very quickly in store (they weren't so helpful on the customer services phone line which I know is a call centre somewhere, 3 calls made and 3 different answers...the last call and the staff at the store are the reason why its 5* and not zero
