Went for Sunday lunch, steak o.k. nothing special but the roast beef was tough. I thought it was expensive £54 for 2 corses 2 people + 1 glass of wine & half pint of beer, not be going back anytime soon.

Been coming here 25 plus years gone down hill lately came on Tuesday 21st Jan with my friend had the starter an main offer so unfortunately they didn't have anything I liked on the starter so asked could I change it an have the sweet instead and pay the extra I was told no I would have to pay for the 2 offer so when the minute steak came it had blood coming out asked them to take back and cook it some more best part was the cheesecake smallest piece not worth £6 starving when I got home won't be going again very dissatisfied

Went for a birthday meal with relatives.
Very disappointed.
The food is uninspiring and expensive for what you get.
We used to come often before Covid and felt it was really good value for money and there was an excellent choice.
They advertise as being open till 10.30 pm. Our table was booked for 7pm .The place was very quiet, no atmosphere at all, possibly 4 tables being used . We ordered desserts and hot drinks, I was served tepid tea, which I asked to be taken back.We felt very much that they wanted us to leave from about 8.30pm. Very disappointed, will think twice before visiting again.

Lovely food and wine but attempted to buy further wine at 9pm, we were told that they had cashed up and therefore couldn't serve us.

Beautiful venue with stunning atmosphere and views. Menu looks amazing and food was really nice however as a vegan there was very limited options. More vegan options would be great including a vegan dessert option as there was none. But for non vegans this place would be wonderful for all occasions and you'd love the food. Looks especially nice at Christmas there! Please consider accomodating vegans more. Would definitely come back if there was more options!

Went Sunday 21/12 for a family meal. Not the best meal. Missing items on the Sunday dinner which when questioned was told they had none left. Not much taste to the food and had to ask for condiments to give it some flavour. Very strange setup with one bar serving some drinks but not others. Probably wouldn't return.

We've eaten here regularly but the food this time was disappointing- bland and tasteless beef, congealed rum sauce with a slab of mediocre Christmas pudding. Servers were attentive and friendly.

We attended a funeral here of a friend of my 94 year old father, and when we arrived, they were still closed .I asked a member of staff if they could let us in as he couldn't stand, and it was cold, and they left us standing outside for 20 minutes .The food was lovely
