We stayed for two nights as we were attending a wedding nearby.
Check in was simple and Emily was very friendly and helpful.
Parking is a bit tight and limited, but we managed to get a space.
This is an older Premier Inn, and the rooms are a tad dated, with small bathrooms.
The room was clean and well maintained, with some tea and coffee, with top ups freely available in reception.
Unusually there is no bar or restaurant attached, although there?s a Hickories next door. Unfortunately they don?t open until 10 if you take breakfast.
Menus for the restaurant are available in your room and the Wi-Fi is stable and a decent speed.

The family room was large and the kids beds were the most comfortable we've had at a Premier Inn. The staff were super helpful, even offered to help with our cases.

Booked in, informed room on 2nd floor, asked if there was a lift and was informed through the door. He just pointed at the door.
Opened door, no lift, stairs all thr way to 2nd floor with our luggage. We were in the attic.
Would not recommend,needs revamped. Other customers may love this hotel, but its not for us. We have stayed in over 100 Premiers as this is 0 out of 5.

Definitely an older Premier Inn. Our room had an actual key, not a card. It was clean and tidy with friendly service though, pretty standard Purple Palace which will hopefully get a refurb with Aircon fitted to the rooms.

Often use this Premier inn when in wigan had a bit of a revamp since last there hickory smoke house now in where the hungry horse was will be tryingfood there next time we visit

An older style Premier Inn but a large room, with 2 x full size singles for the kids and a large double.
Room immaculately clean and staff friendly. A great price and I wouldn?t hesitate to stay here again.
Restaurant was closed for refurb but this was clearly indicated on the website when we made the booking.

A very quick stop off in the perfect location just off the M6, easily accessible from both directions. Yes, it?s not a new or refurbished Premier Inn, but it?s clean and the Premier Inn standards for a great nights sleep are there, including the comfy beds and duvet! I arrived late at night and received a lovely warm and friendly welcome and equally when I left a cheery goodbye. The team are doing a great job!

Great stay, room was clean and well equipped, staff friendly and welcoming.
