Ordered poached eggs and avocado on toast, the egg white was runny and gloopy so asked for it to be cooked more, the chef stuck the whole plate in the microwave and served it back to me 1 minute later, the eggs were no better and the plate was piping hot, he didn't even warn me, wouldn't order food here again

Always have lots of gluten free choices and have takeaway gf pies and cakes. Check fb for what is available, DF too. Usually pretty full so worth phoning ahead if you're eating in

Shevington Village Kitchen recently did the catering for us at a small function. Making the arrangements was so easy as the staff were so lovely. The food was delicious, very well presented and everyone enjoyed it and commented on how nice it was. We have also eaten food in the cafe, which was also lovely. Will definitely be coming back whenever possible. Would highly recommend their services. As a family we would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Village Kitchen. ? Xx

We got the full English but I forgot to take pictures, the food was nice and the eggs were fried very nicely and not overdone. You can see that the ingredients were of a good quality with thick sausages and bacon. It has a nice community feel

We bought some of the steak and peppercorn sauce gluten free pies and had them for our tea, they were the tastiest pie I?ve ever eaten so much filling and the steak melted in your mouth will definitely be buying more Thankyou

Great little cafe, my partner and I visited here to grab a quick bite to eat whilst our daughter was at a class nearby. We were cutting it a little fine timescale wise when we ordered and the cafe was very busy so there were unexpected delays with our order. Unfortunately we had to leave before our order was ready however when we explained our situation we were informed we could come back to collect our order later and it would be free of charge. I wouldn't accept the order without paying but to our surprise they kindly gave us loads of free items. Excellent customer service all round. The food was great too.

Been a frequent visitor for years now, and never had a bad experience. They are all so friendly and welcoming. What I particularly like about this place is that they are very accommodating towards children. They always give my little boy some plastic cutlery so we don?t need to worry about bringing our own. I don?t see this a lot in other cafés/ restaurants, so this is definitely a big plus. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, lots of menu choices too. Looking forward to our next visit.

Ok for battery hens. Male member of staff insisted on squeezing five of us onto a table for four in a corner where two seats were blocked by another table
Table cluttered with fifteen pieces of crockery plus condiment box. Not a good experience..
