??Unagi? The cart stall turned into a ramen + sushi restaurant??This restaurant "Unagi Street Food & Sushi"? was developed from a street cart stall and turned into a popular check-in shop in Altrincham. It has wooden decoration and a stylish bar. It is really good? IGable?!
I have eaten ?tonkotsu ramen, fried chicken tantan noodles, Japanese rice bowl?, sushi rolls?, and sometimes ordered takeout?. Their tonkotsu ramen has a rich soup base, but it?s not too greasy??. The noodles are small and easy to soak up in the soup, and the noodles are chewy and chewy when you eat them.
I tried their ?"Unagi Omakase Sushi Platter"? for my birthday meal. It looked great and was delicious. (Of course it can?t be compared with Hong Kong, but speaking from the UK, it?s really good.)

Food was amazing, service was impeccable and there was a great atmosphere for a Wednesday night. Highly recommend to anyone in the Altrincham area

We went for dinner and were thoroughly disappointed by the service. The food was just average, but the attitude of the server was a significant letdown. We booked a table for four at 6 PM and were informed we needed to vacate by 7:30 PM, which was fine. However, it took them over an hour to bring our food, and we were still asked to leave on time. When we raised our concerns, their response was dismissive and uncaring.

Lovely food and interior but not very baby friendly. Couldn?t access with pram due to lift being broken (passer by helped me up steps), then inside tables left barely any room to comfortably push a pram through. Staff were nice enough, a bit standoffish. A smile or some small talk would?ve helped us to feel more welcome there, especially as it was just me and my son. Would eat here again but would prefer to come back as a couple or with older children. Poke bowl was amazing!
Kid-friendliness: More suited to older kids.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not currently wheelchair accessible.

We went for my partners birthday and honestly have tried a lot of sushi places in and around Manchester is this is definitely up there if not the best! The food was so good, amazingly presented and made fresh. The staff couldn?t do enough, our waitress (can?t remember her name) was so attentive and polite, gave great recommendations too. Will deffo be back!

I've eaten here a few times and it never disappoints. Fab sushi really great selection on the platter and lots of it. Bang bang cauli and salt & pepper squid just yum. Super cheery service and good quality cava. We will def return and would recommend

Great drinks, nice service, good food. Panko prawns and crab sushi are always fantastic, normally one or two ok dishes but well worth a visit!

Food is good, if you ever get it.
Ordered nine dishes at 1pm. Half came out at 1:15, the rest didn't arrive until after 1:50. We were told - after ordering and waiting - that it is 'tapas style', but there is a reasonable limit to what that means, and over half an hour ain't it.
Would have given more stars (the food is nice), except they got two orders wrong - including one for someone with a food allergy (that they were told about), which is pretty inexcusable.
