This Travelodge has modern looking rooms. I was in a family size room with a double and 2 single beds. The bathroom bath/shower set up, there was plenty of room for all your shaving and make up equipment on the large shelf under the mirror.Room was very clean and fresh smelling, no dirty flooring or stains to put you off. There is a TV which you can connet to if you want to watch something on your phone/tablet/firrstickLots of plug sockets but no usb ports.Plenty of work space on the desk for a laptop if you are working from the room, there is also a large dining lounge area if you prefer to work there.Shelving and hanging space for clothes.By far one of the biggest twin rooms I have stopped in, plenty of space to move around.Tea/coffee equipment is also in the room.No air con, but a fan is supplied and the room had electric heating.Restaurant area is clean and food laid out very well presented. No ironing board or iron but reception was able to supply one if asked. The lounge/bar area is large spacious and very comfortable, TV is on displaying the news channel.Lots of sockets and USB ports in the lounge area.Breakfast was additional for £9.75, kids atr fee with each adult.Staff are well presented, smartly dressed, polite and very helpful. 24 hr reception.Key card to access lift area, access to corridor on each level and you room does make it feel very secure.Vending machines in reception if you need snacks or a drink out of hours. There is a bar available where you can also order a variety of pizzas as well as drinks. There is parking on site although you have to pay for it. £10 per day, NPC just around the corner was also available for £6 per day. I didn't see any EV points but there is also a multi storey close by where I would assume they are available.I would definitely stay here again.Casinos in walking distance, Local shops/Tesco on the same the road if you forget anything you may need. Lots of different restaurants takeaways within 5 to 6 min walking distance.Arndale Shopping centre is also in walking distance.Very close to the Arena Venue.Give this review a thumbs up if you think it is helpful.Rooms: Very clean roomsNearby activities: Central Manchester, you are in the heart of the citySafety: Very secure, key card access required for each area to prevent people roaming the hotel unnecessarilyWalkability: Walking distance to main shopping, eating and drinking venuesFood & drinks: Most varieties of food available in the centre to suit all tastes

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was a decent size for the price and the temperature was good. Very clean and comfortable. Only complaint was noise outside at around 8am, which sounded like metal trollies being pushed around the car park inside the 'quad'.

You know what you're getting with a Travelodge don't you.Rooms were as expected. Service was actually noticeably good, staff were really friendly and nice. Location was brilliant as well.My only issue was the pricing variation on different days was drastic!Walkability: On the door step of the city center.Noteworthy details: Has own car park, but very close to another secure 24 hour car park on Deansgate.

I'm sorry but charging guests to access your WiFi is unacceptable in 2024.

Very affordable hotel, but very friendly and very clean staff, we definitely recommend adding breakfast, quite complete for only £10 per person. 15 minutes walk from the centerRooms: Clean and with everything you need, we opted for one on the 7th floor for greater peace of mind. 100% recommendedFood & drinks: Buffet breakfast, cafeteria, bar and restaurant.
