I used to do my top up shopping from this market for ages and it was good, but today i went with my 1 year old kid at 9:10 am and i was doing my self service check and paying service and at the last step of payment the system asked an assistance so i asked for someone to help , after while one rude employee came but instead of coming directly for helping a lady with a 1 year old child waiting for a while he did checking for 2 other customers who came after me he did that on purpose and he started an endless conversation with one of them, ignoring me on purpose while my kid was crying because of the long time we have been waiting for his help. At last he did not help me even, i can only explain his action by racisim.. just get rid of your racist employees because this will give a negative feed back on your shop.

Sketchy, scary place and very busy all in one! They were well stocked and the employees work continuously to keep things flowing. So, while, the car park terrified me, we got everything we needed, thank you!

I am complaining about the appalling unhelpful attitude of your staff at Salford Quays Campus, Tesco Express Towards disabled people. I have advanced breast cancer which makes me feel very vulnerable and my medication makes me slow and confused.
On October 21st at approximately 4.pm
I got no help or empathy at all! (I'm getting no help from Salford Disability Forum to make a formal complaint).
Yesterday, I took an everi parcel to Tesco for clothes Im sending back.
It was really obvious I had some kind of disability. I wore my larger foam compression garment that I normally wear at night on my left arm.
A young woman with a kid in a pram deliberately rammed her pram into me. I had my shopping trolley because the parcel was heavy with the coat I took back.I said she could have said to shop assistant "excuse me". The Gobby young woman. Said shouted aggressively at me that she said that twice. Said I was a knob head and should have told her to her face. With a gob like that. I'm sure I would have heard her! I told her that I wasn't going to argue with her as she was being really aggressive. The Tesco staff just stood there and did nothing to defend me.
I didn't realize that I needed the code on the invoice to print off the return label.
So I had to open my parcel to get it. The a shop assistant said I can't send it back opened. I asked for selotape. But he wasn't helpful. I would have even bought some in Tesco.
I said I had health problems and didn't have the energy to come back He took the. parcel off me and told me very grumply that it would have to do like that.
I feel more vulnerable now I'm at risk of having fractures to aggressive people.

Great store has most things. Customer service is generally good. What's not so good is their evri printer for parcel labels isn't always working. Sometimes I call up before I go to check and they answer and let me know if it's working. But this morning they've just answered the phone, not said anything. and hung up. Twice.

I wrote the review below two months ago. Today 26 June, '24 acid is purported to have been thrown on another shopper within the premises. What level of hate makes a human do that to another?
Tesco Bosses, whatever you do, please (I am begging you) get security back in this shop. It might be costing you an arm and a leg. But trust me, in the long run, it is going to cost you more with this free-for-all programme you are currently running.
The staff at this Tesco are faultless. Amazing. Yet, they face all types of abuse from customers. An Asian Brit assistant was racially abused only the other day by a customer who should know better. The football-playing young men help themselves and walk out of the shop without paying. Bearded workers in shirt and tie and long Wesley Snipes Blade-like coats walk out emptying their pockets, giggling like school girls because they have nicked lunches and protein bars. I have seen people attack the tills - and I am not even there every day. Maybe thrice a week.
These shop workers are brilliant and selfless. They deserve better than the disrespect they get. Get security or one day you may have the whole shop wiped out by these (insert expletives).

Even with a new bin installed outside this store to help solve their customers need for a bin, the area is STILL not being respected by the Tesco staff and none of them seem to care or bother clean it. I no longer use the Salford main Tesco anymore because of the same problem, please reconsider who you shop with, especially when you can see they just DONT CARE

Store is fine but constantly allows litter to build up and refuses to help clean up the rubbish they create.. Completely ruins the park and area and Tesco do not care at all. It has been happening for years.

This store allows litter to build up for years without taking any action and a manhole cover spews open sewage right next to it, again, with no action being taken. This on top of the graffiti on the side of the building is also another issue the store clearly couldn't care less about. A huge team of volunteers recently gave the area a deep clean and since then, no attempts by this store have been made to maintain their hard work. Please consider using a retailer that cares more.
