Opticians were excellent, thorough exam, found the problem and gave me advice and details on how to rectify it, with further advice if it doesn't work. Frirnfly welcoming store. Highly recommend

Happy with optician's advice etc but some of the service staff's customer service skills could be improved, especially in regards to booking in and dealing with one of the visual tests.

I ended up walking out of this branch yesterday.
I wanted a new eye test doing because some new symptoms popped up and I wasn't happy with my recent prescription, and I was treated like I was asking for the Sun.
I had three members of staff acting like what I wanted (another eye test) was something that had never been asked for before and I was somehow breaking the rules which makes absolutely no sense considering the chap who gave me my last eye test told me he was going to give me the weaker prescription but to come back if I wasn't happy with it.
I understand that they are the professionals here and it's their professional opinion that it was a waste of their time, but I still wanted a new one anyway because of the new symptom and was willing to pay and booked the appointment weeks in advance so I do not see the issue here??
After being told that they'd basically never give me the prescription strength that would give me actually clear and comfortable sight, I walked out.
I felt like the hugest inconvenience and so talked down to and embarrassed.
Completely unnecessary.
This was supposed to be the 4th eye test I've had at this branch but I will never be returning.

Very friendly and helpful. We have had bad experiences in the past at other places. But here we were seen by an optometrist called Yasir who was such an amazing person and so compassionate about his role. I am so happy with the efforts he went to as I have now been given the correct glasses and my headaches have disappeared. If you do book yourself in here, make sure to request to be seen by Yasir.
