The shop was small but well stocked. I visited close to opening time during a weekday and the shop was overrun with trollies used for restocking. Two of the staff were shouting across the shop to each other and one even barged past me then tutted. Not exactly in keeping with the general attitude of Manchester which I would find disappointing if I was a tourist.

Had a very bad smell of urine when I visited this past Friday evening with my young child, other than that a handy little store for a few bits and pieces you may need for a hotel stay.

A wonderful little store. Has everything I need. Staff are always willing to help get me get things from high up (I'm a wheelchair user) they are happy to go the extra mile to help me. A rather attractive young lady member of staff pushed me home in the pouring rain.

If you're going to close 10min before 11 then you should communicate it as such. It is frustrating to get to a closed door 5min before closing time.

Got refused alcohol at 33 years of age. It's been about a decade since that happened to me.

A small Sainsbury's store, in a useful location on Greengate in Manchester city centre (strangely it is classed as Salford), it is located right over the bridge, close to many offices including City Suites which is reported to be home to a couple of footballers, it is also nearby to a Premier Inn hotel and Car Parking. One of the few stores within the city centre to be left open after Sainsbury's shut the majority of their stores, it is a pretty small store and I found the selection in most areas to be poor, despite the ongoing COVID-19 causing difficulties anyway, I've found that smaller shops in the city centre have at least an ample selection, yet sadly this one didn't and even left me asking the security guard for the nearest other store in the city. Useful location but pretty poor selection. 2*

Could have a larger selection. I did like the self service
