AJ is the reason why I'd come back to Matchstick Man. A sound lad! Me and my mate were on vacation in the UK and ended up at Matchstick Man to watch the arsenal v Man City game. AJ was super accommodating to make sure we were set for the game, even securing us our own private table. Cheers!

Lovely friendly pub.. came for lunch with a couple of friends. Served by leanne nothing seemed to much trouble, pointed out the offers that were available I had the large chicken new yorker have to say it was simply delicious, complements to the chef. All food served piping hot and well presented. Overall a delightful visit, will definitely be back.

Nice enough place, staff very friendly, service fine. Food is good enough, comes out quite quickly, 2nd time I've been and both times steak overdone and not as I ordered. But overall place is fine, not to crowded and plenty of parking.
Parking: Well I think it's free, couldn't see any pay signage

been there many times before. prices up, drink addition gone,portions much smaller, chicken gougons uneditable, left too long in fryer.

Great atmosphere but meal was average, chicken was not covered in bacon and no coleslaw as per menu. Texan sauce tasted more like barbecue sauce out of a bottle.
