Need a major improve in takoyaki. Takoyaki is tasteless, there is nothing but just flour that is fried and the squid inside really tough. The fish flake is so little as you can see in picture. £6 is not worth at all.

Had the spicy salmon rolls and pork katsu don. Service was fast and portions were very generous with not incredible but still good tasting food especially for the value. Liked the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, I'd recommend eating here if you're looking for good budget Japanese food ?

The food was disappointing and the service was worse. Given the sign in the window telling delivery drivers to wait outside (it is currently -3 C and the pavement is full of ice) - I would not recommend spending your money here.
Plenty of better options close by!

?Staff were very kind when there was a misunderstanding with an ingredient in a dish we ordered and it was quickly resolved.

Order via the online web page (QR code on table), pay at the till afterwards. Food arrived quickly but not all at the same time.
I ordered the beef + rice, and it was quite nice. Nearly as good as the ones you get in Japan and the taste is pretty authentic.
Decent portion size.

Nice place, but was little disappointing for japanese food fans. Me and my partner really like japanese food and places, and this was just not it.
SERVICE: Started by ordering a green tea that comes in a pot and were surprised when they refused to give us an extra cup saying to order 2 pots. Obviously, we drank from one cup as the pot was huge. The servers, in general, are very reachable but not as helpful.
FOOD: The food was not more than okay. It was all fresh and no poisoning of course, however, missing a lot of flavor. We ordered 2 ramens and 1 roll. As for the Ramen itself was really nice in texture and look, but tasted like spaghetti in soy water.. the rolls were fine, but no flavor at all except of the sauces on it, tasted like regular rice with mayo (the fish was completely tasteles)
ATMOSPHERE: Very quiet. Good if you want to eat on your own, we were seating right next to the kitchen and there was a little bit of music coming from it (you can barely hear it) and some lamps and nice stuff, but nothing special and a little dirty and small.
Overall, we had a decent experience that wasn't horrible, but I would definitely recommend finding a better place for japanese food and sushi ( ´??)

Food was bland and mediocre, server was rude, staff got bill items wrong and forced us to pay the extra.

I feel bad to write a negative review about a recently opened business as the staff were all so lovely however the wait time was incredibly slow and the food was nothing to write home about.
hopefully as they get into the swing of things it improves but personally I would not go again.
