After COVID it's just gone down hill, never opens on time, opens and closes as you please, some things are always broken, today front door broken, last time I visited there was no counter service due to a machine failure. Just close the bank and stop wasting peoples time.

Standing outside this bank. 9am opening time but it's still closed, and it's 9.15 now. Give jobs to people who can actually wake up and get to work on time! Shocking service Halifax!
Eventually opened at 9.25am with both pakistani girls showing attitude.....

An absolute joke. I?ve been last week to deposit my money into my account and I was told the machine is down and they?re waiting on someone to fix it. Same again today. Complete waste of my time.

Don't bother to come at opening time. 9:15 and still not open because 9am its the time when someone open a shutter

I've been banking with this branch over 40 years. I've always had plenty of money in the account. During covid I fell into difficulty and was for the first time in my life, low on finances. The bank started charging me daily and when I rang them, they said they will make me an appointment to go into the branch and speak to someone who 'will' be able to help. I attened my appointment and was basically told by the heartless blonde that she will cancel my account as I don't have any money coming in at the moment. Totally disregarding 3 decades of business that ive provided for them. As soon as I was back on my feet, I left these and joined Natwest, up the road where i have had great experience ever since.Halifax on Cheetham Hill Rd is always short staffed. They force you to use the machines which are not very efficient.When it comes to my money, I want to speak to a person, not deal with a stupid machine.

Can't even tell you how frustrating this place is. Barely anyone working and queues are out the door. Help desk is never helpful! A joke of a bank.
