I?ve visited Greenhalgh?s in Salford several times now, and each time I walk away impressed. Whether you?re after a hearty pie, a fresh sandwich, or one of their classic sweet treats, the quality is consistently top-notch.
The staff are always friendly, efficient, and ready with a smile ? even during busy hours. The shop itself is clean, well-organized, and stocked with a wide selection of baked goods that cater to both traditional tastes and lighter, modern options.
My personal favorites? The steak and ale pie is absolutely packed with flavour, and their vanilla slices are a proper indulgence ? just the right balance of creamy and crisp. Everything is fresh, well-prepared, and reasonably priced, which is a rare combination these days.
If you?re in or around Salford and haven?t popped into Greenhalgh?s yet, you?re missing out on a local treasure. Highly recommended for a quick bite, a comforting lunch, or a cheeky treat on the go!

I went there a few months back and oh my I couldn't believe how good a meat and potatoe pie could taste. It was so scrumptious, great value, piping hot, well seasoned and delicious. If you were ever in the area do try their food.The staff were also so friendly and welcoming. I had come up from London and if I could have put the half of their food in my case I would! Wonderful gem for the local area.

I go to Salford bakery ..every day the lady nicola ( manager ) is absolutely amazing ..very friendly ..my order is always on time & the teacakes are cooked in the oven which are amazing.. the bakery is always full of delicious cakes & hot food ..very clean..I would highly recommend the Salford store ..you will get treated brilliant by nicola ..the lady is a credit to the store .5 star all the way ??

Staff are super friendly and helpful too, and will pop one in the oven if I phone order, so that it?s piping hot when I pick it up.
