“I was in desperate need of some petrol and was quite far away from my usual station as I was visiting relatives in Salford. Despite the fact that fuel prices are quite high at the moment, Tesco station was quite reasonable. With £30 I was able to fill over half of my tank which will more than do for the rest of this week. As it was in the evening it was quite quiet at the station and it’s very handy that they have many pumps which allow you to pay at the pump rather than having to go into the shop.”

“This Shell service station offers EV charging as well as petrol and diesel. Its shop is a Little Waitrose. Costa Express coffee is also available here as are Amazon collection lockers.

Neither the fuel nor the shopping are particularly competitive on price, particularly compared with the Sainsbury's supermarket and filling station directly opposite on the other side of the dual carriageway. However, the Shell station does have two key advantages:

1. It is on the same side of the road as traffic heading out of town towards the start of the M602 and wider motorway network. This means that it is very convenient to fill up here ahead of a long journey.

2. It is one of the few filling stations locally that is open 24 hours.”

“There's an onsite prep for coffee and cake.You can only stay there upto 30 mins unless you put your registration into the machine at the till you will need to if your using the charging points.thay sell most things you would expect from a service station.petrol,diesel,and there's 5 or 6 electric charge points.”

“Nothing negative to share so won't rate lower than 5, but this garage doesn't have toilets like the Google 'About' section states. Should any of you need it urgently, there is a Shell garage on the opposite side nearer to the Tesco Express that has a toilet”

“I like this petrol station as they also have the outside laundrette which I think is a good idea especially with the blocks of flats nearby the guy inside was friendly as well”

“A thoroughly enjoyable petrol station. The windows have glass on them and you can definitely see through them. State of the art pumps too - will defo be recommending it to my brother in law Norman and his friend Darth Saul.
