Excellent location - about a half a mile from the nearest metro link and plenty of onsite parking. There is a Costa Coffee next door as well as a TGI Friday. Check in was easy and the receptionist was very friendly - in fact all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were immediately given free breakfast because there was no main heating in the room (even though a portable heater was provided and it was fortunately not cold that weekend). The room was nice - everything that you would expect from a Travelodge with a comfy bed, tea and coffee making facilities and a decent shower. There was a bar downstairs where breakfast was also served the next morning and the breakfast itself was fine - the usual full English breakfast, cereal, croissant etc.All in all, very efficient service, friendly and s nice, cosy hotel with staff who definitely represent Travelodge in a very positive way.

Good room, location was handy. Most staff were helpful.Fire alarm at 1am which ended at about 2am. The neighbouring Costa alarm however continued all night. I was not able to change rooms (my room was close to it and I was unable to sleep) and I was not compensated in any way. Very disappointing night.Safety: No one gathered at the fire assembly point, nor did staff herd people towards it

The hotel is nice and clean and a good location. All the staff we met were friendly and very helpful, especially Anthony who was working the night shift- when the fire alarm went off he was clearly working very hard to handle the situation with little help. He communicated clearly and made the best out of a bad situation. I would recommend this hotel as a cheap but comfortable place to stay.Nearby activities: The costa downstairs is nice

Budget hotel at a premium price. Low quality rooms, dated and smells.room was cold ,breakfast was awful .I've been to another travelodge hotel in Portsmouth and it was miles better. All hotels should be brought to same standard or reduce the prices. Stayed 2 nights in Dec fri to Sunday. 250 pounds with breakfast. Waste of money . Pay a bit more and go to a premier Inn.Rooms: No Heating just a plug in heater. Bedding was just a bedsheet,no quilt , room smelled of urine . Poor qualityFood & drinks: Breakfast wasn't worth £10

Having previously lived in the area we knew the area and where this hotel was so perfect for visiting friends and family. It is near the motorway and the main A56 Washway road so ideal for wherever you need to go but that does mean it is a little noisy. With the window shut we couldn't hear the traffic but if you are sensitive to noise maybe earplugs would help. Car park is quite large but you have to make sure you park in a space marked T or T/C, and enter car reg in the system at checkin. We stayed with both our dogs, not sure how there is an extra cleaning charge for them as surely they clean the rooms and vacuum between guests anyway but it wasn't too unreasonable. Staff were pleasnt and check in was friendly and easy to do. Room clean, it looks quite moderm like it might have been refurbed recently or well looked after. The room was slightly smaller than older travelodges, there was no bath just shower. But all fine, we were only there for 2 nights.Breakfast and meals are available in the foyer area. Breakfast is buffet for just under £10. Good choice, cereals dairy and non dairy milk, pancakes, croissants, bagels toast, plus fruit, juice, yoghurts plus cooked items, bacon, sausage, eggs hash browns etc.Rooms: On the smaller side but still everything you need, clean and comfortable.

Had a good experience at this Travelodge although I was there just for an overnight stay. Good service from the desk on arrival and at breakfast time. Clean and spacious bedroom, warm and cozy with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was really good with both cooked breakfast and continental to choose from. There is nothing really special being a budget hotel, but it does all the basics really well, and on that, it met my expectations.

Typical purpose built Travelodge, functional, clean, convenient. Costas coffee right next door. Parking a bit quirky - you have to park in spaces with a C or T/C or get a fine.

When I first arrived, I had to make sure my car was in the correct part of the car park and then I had to put my car's number plate onto a computer and for how long. I was then given my key card and went to my room. The male guest, staying in the room next to mine, had some trouble opening his door and went back down to reception. A few minutes later, I was still having a problem with my iPad and I went down to find Shauna the receptionist there. As she tried to sort it out, she kept having to deal with everyone else and nothing was any trouble or problem for her. She, eventually, sorted it out. I could eat as much breakfast as I liked and all the tables were kept very clean. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to Dane Road tram stop, which will stop at Old Trafford if you are a football or cricket fan. If you need anything, Sainsbury's is just down the road and Tesco is a bit further on.
