The store is good with one major exception - the management and systems of the car park. The machines are terrible - very unresponsive and hit-and-miss, often cancelling transactions whilst they are processing. On a good day you can be there for a good few minutes just trying to pay for a ticket, and this leads to long queues. If often have to try several machines before the transaction works. Today it was cold and the machines were extremely unreliable - I tried three different machines unsuccessfully in the freezing cold with a young child with me. I spoke to one lady who said she had managed to get a ticket but she had to wait 3 minutes for the card payment to be accepted. I mentioned this to staff to be told that they are unable to help with this as they don?t run the car parks. I now do most of my shopping at Aldi nearby where the car park is free for 90 minutes, and my experience this evening reminded me why I made this switch.

I am old and disabled, went to Sainsbury's in Sale on 9 the Jan intentionally to use their mobility scooter to help with my shopping. Unfortunately it was taken by another customer. The staff at the customer service desk asked a member of staff to help me. In a wheelchair with a fitted trolley I did my shopping with John (the kindest shop assistant I have ever known).
Very surprised and delighted by the level of help from Sainsbury's, I decided to write this feedback to share my grateful feelings for their excellent customer service. In truth I have been with Tesco for more than 25 years, they offered me no help when no mobility scooter was available to me two days ago. Well done Sainsbury's! You are better than Tesco a lot!!!!

All ok good choice of food and other stuff. Nice clean cafe. Store not to big so you can get shopping done easily. Very helpful staff. Hate the self check outs bring back more service check outs

The staff here are lovely but I don?t know what absolute hooligan they allowed to design the layout of the shop. Crackers in the freezer section! Unbelievable scenes.

Unfortunately overstayed my parking by a few minutes on 14th of December the staff member at the customer service was almost laughing at my misfortune, the lack of empathy made me feel really uncomfortable.

I love shopping here. So relaxed and never crowded. If I was to have one little moan, it would be that it could do with more checkouts. I often end up in a queue despite using scan and shop.
