I visited the Pound Bakery today and found it to be a very pleasant experience. I don’t live in Manchester and am visiting from the South East. I must say the staff were very helpful and friendly.
I bought a jumbo chilli beef pastry slice and it was delicious.

Good cake. Probably brought in frozen and just defrosted on site, but the Bavarian slices are very good. Sausage rolls do taste good but I think you get what you pay for, meat content a bit weak

Great Parkin there, should have baught more, going back for more hope they have some left.
