Great pub with a fantastic atmosphere! The food was really tasty and freshly prepared ? you can tell they put care into what they serve. I had the fish and chips while my sister had the scampi, both were brill! There was live music later on while we were there, which really added to the vibe. Loads of outdoor seating at both the front and back, perfect for sunny days. Plus, parking was no issue at all with the large car park. Will definitely be returning!

Not all menu available in garden. You can eat pizza outside but not chicken nuggets or burger ? the worst chicken wings ever

Shocking! Over 3 hours service for main course and a desert even tho we pre booked! The driest chicken I?ve ever had with soggy overcooked bland vegetables.
The deserts were over done in the microwave! Seriously don?t bother! Shocking food, shocking service, I will not return.

The Hopwood is a warm and inviting pub with a good mix of classic and modern dishes on the menu. The food was great ? fresh, well presented, and served hot. Portions were generous without being over the top. Staff were friendly and attentive without hovering. The space is clean and nicely decorated, with plenty of seating inside and a decent outdoor area for warmer days. It?s a good spot for a casual meal with family or friends, and there?s usually a relaxed atmosphere even when it?s busy. Parking is easy and the location is convenient just off the main road.
