Following some consideration, I would like to give this Tesco a more respectable 2 star rating. I would like to seperate why in a list of Pros and Cons Pros: - This is a big store which includes a click and collect desk as well as customer service, which you will normally see in stores but also a salon and a Timpson. - Very big clothing department - Good size cafe and close to a Starbucks - It has a manned petrol station - Location is quite good being on a main road, easy access from Rochdale and Middleton city centre - Good size Cons: - Shape is quite unusual hence making it hard to navigate for those who rarely visit - Poor range of Starbucks Iced drinks compared to other stores, including Tesco in Middleton - Poor Mobile signal in this area and little to no signal in the Car Park - 2 minute drive away from an ASDA, where prices are 10 percent cheaper or money back - Quite a few items were not here upon my visit, including Microwavable chips, supermarkets normally stock good amounts of both types but it seemed they had sold out. - Most of the items were spaced out, for example they was little to no Seabrook Crisps on the crisp isle and they were just dotted around, they were supposed to be in those places as they were labels and anything, I guess they presume this with other things too hence making it more confusing, but don't hold me to that. - Store layout in general, not very nice compared to other stores like Middleton Overall, this store deserves 2 stars because it does not make the most of it being a larger store with stock of certain items and the layout is not the easiest on the eye and quite confusing, the lack of a wifi signal also adds to this. I wouldn't say this is a Tesco to avoid at all costs anymore but it really isn't worth going out of your way too, especially with an Asda being minutes away in a car, where they guarantee to be 10 percent cheaper or your money back, Tesco just guarantee to be cheaper and something prints off at tills.

This is a larger Tesco store and I can say that it offers a wide range of products (especially as I can compare this to the one where I live now). For example, in the children's clothes section, there is a wide selection of designs and sizes. They have a fresh fish, meat, cooked meat and cooked chicken counter. They also have an instore bakery and their fresh french bread is gorgeous. They also sell the usual fresh fruit and vegetables and groceries. The manager is often present overseeing the smooth running of the store. The checkout staff are friendly and always offer to pack. There is also a petrol station on site. The car park is quite big and the store is located in a central area, just off the motorway. A bus stops at the side of the store also.
