Well away from the main shopping centre, but close to the bus station and tram stop. Very limited choice of shops, which because they are small do not stock full ranges. Probably the most boring shopping area I have ever visited.Because the car park payment is to NCP in Edinburgh my bank declined payment as I was in Rochdale. I had to get my credit card out, while holding up the car behind me.

This is the replacement for Rochdale's high street Yorkshire st. It has some big names but not the character of the old center not a place for me will not be returning soon

What a difference this has made to rochdale. It has the cinema and gold as well as some nice shops. There is a nandos greggs and other places to eat as well as coffee shops and it's a really nice place to go, especially when the pop uo market is set up

Lots of decent shops. Still clean and tidy, I haven't noticed any gangs of kids, which is a pleasant surprise.Rochdale still needs a lot of money throwing at the town centre.
