Well stocked shop, plenty of choice. However, disappointed with the upkeep of the fish tanks - glass was cloudy and tanks could do with a clean.

Today, I decided to adopt a very cute Russian dwarf hamster called Nacho, who is now named Buddy. The level of care and compassion shown to this little hamster by the staff at Pets at Home was lovely to see, and little Buddy is a credit to those staff members' hard work. Pet shops get a bad reputation, but without companies like Pets at Home and their caring staff, what would we be left with? I'm sure Buddy wouldn't have been given a second chance, and my little girl wouldn't have gotten to meet her best little buddy. So thanks!

Visited pets at home today (Christmas Eve) with my upset 10 year old daughter who's gerbil died today, we were concerned about her other gerbil as they live in pairs, so wanted some advice on the gerbil being alone or bonding, Rick (store manager) was amazing with my daughter, we got great advice and they was really empathetic. Whilst we were talking to another colleague Rick came back with a handful of Gerbil toys and gave them to my daughter as a gift for her and her gerbil!!! Thank you so much, you made her day!
