What fabulous service we had today. Turned up with Dad in a wheelchair and Mum with a stroller. Unfortunately the lift was out of order and they brought tables and chairs downstairs and brought our food and drinks down to us. So helpful and friendly . Thanks

I bought afternoon tea for my elderly mother online through the Gordon Riggs Kingsway website. We arrived at our allocated time to be told that it was only served in Todmorden. I didn't realise there was another Gordon Riggs and nowhere in my booking did I see this. I don't expect to book through a specified website to have my booking made elsewhere. The staff informed me that there was around 5 people up to 1pm that had turned to be told the same thing. As this is the same company and it was mother's day I was more than happy to choose an alternative meal but was told I could go and collect my afternoon tea from Todmorden and they would box it up for me! This is really terrible customer service and I have now lost £40 as well as having to purchase 2 more meals! The staff at the kingsway branch were very lovely but told not to refund me by the manager of the Todmorden branch. Truly terrible experience the customer clearly comes last!

Dear me what a shambles! First off it was around 2pm and the ladies were screaming at us saying don?t sit there as this section is closed! It was 2pm, not 4pm. Then we ordered. OMG vile! We had a biscoff cake, the guy serving was chatting so much to another staff member about going out he started to pick the wrong cake until I stopped him! I also ordered a cappuccino! Well, my first look at the coffee looked frothy, alas
that was all that was good, dishwater it resembled. No coffee taste at all just watery froth -couldn?t drink it. Then moved onto the cake! Dry as the sun and had no resemblance at all to biscoff,
Sugar and cinnamon sprinkled on top also, if I was blind folded and asked what flavour it was, i couldn?t tell you. Again. Couldn?t eat it. My husband had a tea so we had to swap and the tea wasn?t nice either. What an absolute waste of money. We will never visit again.

Brilliant place. The cafe is wonderful and reasonably priced. Delicious cakes, can recommend the steak canadian.
Good selection of home accessories, plants etc. very reasonable for Christmas baubles etc...

Spent a small fortune here over the years on fish. In the past they've had an exceptional variety of fish and what have appeared to be healthy.
Recently though I'm afraid these standards have dropped significantly. The variety has been lacking and on every visit in the past two or three months I've noticed dead fish in a number of tanks.
My visit today though was the worst I've ever seen, not only here but in any aquatics centre. Dead fish littering a number of tanks, waste carpeted tanks and generally poor upkeep.
Left empty handed and underwhelmed by my recent visits.

We went for breakfast with Santa and there was an issue finding our booking. The staff were amazing and so accommodating, the food is lovely and the staff are brilliant with the children. 100% recommend x

Visited the bistro twice in last month. Both times very very disappointing. First visit we had Broccoli and Stilton soup with a ham sandwich. The soup resembled dishwashing water and tasted of nothing. Obviously highly watered down and was cold. The ham sandwich was actually a torpedo bun with margarine and lumps and I mean lumps of ham not one bit of salad or dressing for £7.50 just for the so called sandwich!!!
Today we visited for a coffee and toasted tea cake, well first the tray they gave us was dirty with old food spilt on it. The cutlery was dirty and well the tea cake had been around for weeks. They were so hard we couldn't eat them. This used to be such a lovely cafe. Never visiting again. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

Our first visit here & was really impressed, we intentionally went to see the Christmas ? decorations & were blown away by the impressive display and amazing selection of Christmas decorations and gifts, by far the best garden centre we have ever visited & will definitely be our first choice for future purchases, keep up the great work guys, you should be proud of yourselves.
