?BEWARE?AVOID? I CAUGHT MEGAN SO CALLED BRANCH MANAGER RED HANDED TRYING TO STEAL MY HARD EARNED CASH DEPOSIT!!!! HUNDREDS OF POUNDS!SHE BLAMED THE MACHINE THEN HER STAFF THEN FINALLY FINDS MY MONEY?? TRIES TO GIVE ME WARNING ABOUT MY BEHAVIOUR TO FLIP THE SITUATION.. Good bank, great products. Most of the time they are on hand over the phone to help if I need it, you get the odd member of staff over the phone that is unhelpful. The branch staff members that I had to deal with in this branch, when my Universal Credit back-payment was held by the fraud team, were appalling, rude, unhelpful and unsympathetic with the whole situation. The live chat team in the Barclays app are sometimes helpful but other times they are not helpful and the live chat sessions can close and messages do not display sometimes. I would still recommend them to everyone.

I am getting old and I sometimes get a bit slow but the staff let me take my time and we got everything sorted to my satisfaction and i didn't feel under any pressure and i will stick to them

I have been in Barclays Rochdale on 16/12/2020, 2pm30. the lady 'reception triage' wasn't helpful, and didn't want to help me she just want to get rid of me. I was shocked by her behaviour especially in a big bank

I already have 3 accounts with Barclays Bank, went in and firstly waited for 15 mins, whilst the staff member to the right of me was texting at his desk smiling away.I wanted to open a bank account for my son who is 15, they took my card and verified my I?d, then told me would need an appointment, and the earliest would be **** 21st OCTOBER!!!!! **** wow a whole month to open an account????? seriously!!!!.Went to HSBC, they took us in and start the process straight away, and brilliant customer service too.

Very frustrating. Relative needs home visit as housebound. Can't just make appointment, need telephone appointment (soonest available is in 10 days) to make the actual appointment. Just got text to confirm my appointment in 10 days....at the branch!!! This situation has only arisen due to a mistake made by Barclays in handling the account. Direct line to branch just rings out. Will have to assume they only have standard text message option to cover all types of appointment & hope for the best.

If you need help there's only one manned help desk. There's usually another person floating around to help with the computerised self-service machines. So queing can be bad.
