I went into Argos to return some dumbbells I ordered which were the wrong weight. They weren't in opened, still had the white tabs around the box. The box was slightly damaged, as it was when I was collected. The assistant opened the box and claimed the weights had been used (they had never been opened!!!) yes they did look worse for wear, 20kg of weights were being bashed around in a box with no further packaging, they arrived to me like that.
He refused a refund. I asked to take it further, he said all I could do to take it further was ring a number. (The people of the phone just deal with online orders not in store) Really I should have demanded to see his manager. He then handed me back the tatty not opened box and I'm £40 down!!!!!

Stay away from this store and shop elsewhere! Rude, unprofessional and disgusting customer service and attitude. When you pay for a product and service no one is doing anyone any favours. Respect goes both ways and the staff here treat you like you are dirt on thier shoes. Not all, just some of them. Particularly the lady manager. You'd rather pay more and purchase elsewhere to be treated with respect rather rather then deal with certain individuals in this store.

Go here quite often, most of the time however whenever im unlucky enough id have to deal with an older lady with red hair and specs who has an awful stinky attitude and vibe, NO good customer service from her AT ALL with a very ill mannered tone ?

Uodated review - Been a cuatomer here for a while, i had chosen 3 stars in the past due to slow service BUT ive seen upped this to 4 due to there timely skills in getting my tablet sorted and replaced when it appeared a fault had arisen - communication was spot on and my issues was solved pretty swiftly.

Absolutely disgusting treatment from Lesley the woman who works here. She was rude to myself and another lady whilst we were both waiting in the queue to pay for our orders. She refused to serve me because I was on my phone (whilst waiting for a member of staff to come to the till so I can pay) she came over after another customer got so impatient and went over to the collection desk to ask for a member of staff to attend the till. Lesley came over and said ?I don?t serve customers who are on the phone? I was actually in shock as I was in the queue on the phone at an empty till as soon as she came over I put my phone down. Another customer said to me ?now you know for next time? I said ?yeah I guess I do? Lesley then abruptly said ?you shouldn?t get involved in other peoples conversations I find that disgusting? I genuinely was in shock as she was being so nasty I am going to report the incident to head office. The way she spoke to me infront of so many customers I genuinely can?t believe it. it was so embarrassing I will NEVER be shopping at Argos again. Avoid this woman at all costs! She is a disrespectful, abrupt and rude individual who clearly doesn?t know how to treat customers. What a sad sad woman who takes her anger out on customers.

I had a fantastic shopping experience at Argos . The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making my visit enjoyable. The store had a great selection of products, and I found exactly what I was looking for. The prices were reasonable, and the checkout process was quick and efficient. Overall, a top-notch shopping destination with excellent service!

It doesn?t even deserve one star, I bought shaver there and pay for cover £40, my shaver price was 224£ but they took the clipper to repair and they couldn?t then they only send me the money 120 . Well ripped me off ?????
