Having an evening in Ramsbottom and had looked for restaurant ideas. Not once did this place come up on any google searches etc. happened to be in a bar across the way and spotted it so took a look at the menu. So glad we did. Probably the best Thai meal we have ever had. The shared starter was absolutely delicious and both of our mains were superb. The Massaman curry especially was just amazing. Lovely, friendly staff. Would 100% recommend.

I took my wife last night for our valentines meal. However, we left very disappointed.
The upstairs dining area was so cold all evening, diners were putting their coats and jackets back on whilst eating their food.
How an establishment can think that freezing their patrons is acceptable, is totally beyond me.
I would not reccomend this restaurant, especially in the colder months.

Valentines night and high hopes of good food based on others reviews. We had seating upstairs which sounded great. We have been before last year but it always is a bit hit and mis on the food! My husband booked it so I went with the flow but not my first choice. We were shown to our table by a lovely waiter. Attentive and smiley. It felt cold so I took my coat off and put it around my shoulders. Thinking it probably needed to warm up yet. The heating did not come on all through our meal. Other people made comments between them selves and said how cold it was inside! My husband told me I would be better with food inside me. Ok he is probably right but when we finally finished the meal and I could put my coat on I was relieved! We went to another bar to get warm. The meal order at The Spice Garden got messed up and they brought a beef and a chicken dish instead of my husband?s beef and my choice had been the salmon. I don?t eat meat just fish now and again. The waitress was lovely and apologised saying yes it was put through as salmon. I just ate noodles whilst I waited. No fuss or stress. The salmon came but the salty strong sauce over powered it. Was a bit nasty and dry. The wine was nice though ! The staff were lovely. The decor is nice. Good to be out with my hubby after busy weeks at work! But would I recommend The SpiceGarden? No definitely not unfortunately! It?s a shame as I would like to say it was worth the money as it?s quite expensive.
Vegetarian options: Yes there is a selection
Dietary restrictions: The order was messed up and chicken given instead of the salmon choice.

We came Friday night for a birthday meal and absolutely loved it. We all had starters and main courses and every dish was delicious! We like spicy, though if you don?t, certainly go for mild not medium. Very authentic taste, I?ve been to Thailand and love everything from lemongrass, sweet basil, ginger and the taste was great. Nice ladies serving our meals. All in all a great night and would recommend. (Our dishes ranged from Thai red curry, sweet basil with chicken, holy basil with duck, king prawn dishes!!)
