Went in for food after a walk, sat at the table for around 10-15 minutes before going up to the bar to try and order. Girl behind her bar said someone would be over however not one member of floor staff was seen. Then tried to order drinks at the bar whilst waiting to be shrugged off and told no someone would be over to the table. Immediately left.

Well worth a visit. Lovely, traditional pub with a varied menu for both drinks & food. Nice, friendly atmosphere and the staff are very polite & friendly. Highly recommended.

Our first visit to Ramsbottom and decided to call in the railway pub for some food.
We where not disappointed the food was excellent fish chips and peas for me mushroom bourguinon pie for the wife both cooked to perfection, staff are friendly and willing to serve great atmosphere and tastefully decorated pub no complaints from us and would definitely come again.
