Absolute gem - great choice of dishes from Balti to Byranii - the Tandoori mixed grill was tender and great flavour. All fantastic - lovely salad - crispy/ fresh and lots of chutney - yoghurt/mango/ onions and crispy poppadoms. Then pillowy naan to mop up all the lovely sauces - butter chicken was a fave. The staff absolutely delightful so busy but super quick service and big smiles. Highly recommend

Ordered a delivery through just eat , was very disappointed as reviews were so good. Chicken tikka masala lacking in taste and chicken very tough. Rice was nice. It also arrived 50 mins too early.

Just want to say you guys never cease to amaze the taste buds, travelled from bury specially for this after not having for a long time. Absolutely amazing it is best indian takeaway for miles!!!! I would 100% recommend this curry takeaway. The service is always really friendly and the food is lovely! If you have any dietary requirements, you can just call and they are always super helpful with telling you what is vegan/vegetarian etc.
Really reasonable prices and a treat that we look forward to, especially on a Saturday night in!

The food and service here is immense. I honestly couldn?t critique anything. They?re friendly on the phone, they?ll accommodate any changes, they even rang us back to ask if we wanted some extra sauces.
The delivery drivers are always extremely efficient and polite and the food always arrives sooner than expected.
Foods always fresh and tasty. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. We go here all the time and that wont change when it?s like this.

We ordered takeaway from Saffron Express for the first time tonight, as our usual takeaway had removed our usual midweek set menu order from its menu. We ordered a set menu for two and an extra starter and poppadoms. It was a little more expensive than our usual, but I'd heard good things about this place so I was happy to take a chance. I wasn't disappointed!
Delivery said it would take an hour, which would've been fine, but it came much sooner. I wasn't timing it, but it felt more like half an hour. My partner didn't even believe it could be the delivery! It was delivered with care and the driver was friendly and wished us a happy new year. Everything was packaged securely and hot enough for us to eat our poppadoms first. No sauces leaking out of containers, which is always a relief!
Now onto the tasting. Everything was clearly really fresh and made with high quality ingredients. The sauces all had rich colours. It was all flavoursome and the meat was all tender. The salad was crisp and fresh. The naan breads were really light and fluffy. Everything was just really mouthwateringly delicious. I would undoubtedly order from here again.
My only complaint? We move house in a completely different area this month, so we won't be able to keep this as our local curry house for much longer! I felt I had to write a review at the very least so other Prestwich locals looking for a good curry house know where to go!

Ordered tonight for the very first time, never had a good curry before around here but needed something easy to eat as we're ill, with a bit of a kick to bring our senses back, took a chance on these and did not disappoint. I made a mistake on my order and didn't realise until it turned up but somehow they knew I must have made a mistake and I got what I was trying to order so 10 stars from me just for that but oh my god when I say this is the best curry and takeaway overall that I have EVER had in my life I'm not lying. Tikka masala was so so flavourful and full of chicken, madras bit too spicy for my taste buds but again flavourful and tasty, vindaloo extra hot my fella couldnt handle lol we know for next time, everything 10 out of 10, tasty, spot on, will order again and again! Also a plus literally wasn't expecting it to arrive so quick but was speedy, everything piping hot and cooked to perfection! Thank you very much guys I've finally found a decent takeaway!

Never , ever disappointed with the food from here. It?s the best. We order from here as often as we can. Service is great, delivery is rapid, food always hot. Best Indian around.

This place is really great. Fast, affordable, and quality food. The owner works hard, and I have seen him in the storefront every time I am there to pick up. The kitchen staff there have all been kind to me as well. There?s something to be said about that kind of service.
