At £7, the chocolate fudge cake at Chroma is nothing short of a scandalous exercise in portion control. What arrives at the table is less a generous dessert and more a timid, apologetic sliver that looks as though it escaped from the children?s menu. For that price, one might reasonably expect a slice substantial enough to linger over, not a meagre morsel gone in three modest bites. The rich, indulgent promise of ?chocolate fudge cake? should deliver decadence and satisfaction ? not leave diners wondering if they?ve accidentally been served a free sample. Frankly, the audacity of charging £7 for something so small borders on culinary daylight robbery.

Lovely place. Came across it by accident. Used to use Cromer in Manchester before it shut. This one was just as good.

Absolutely beautiful lunch at Croma today! Stumbled across this place when looking for somewhere to eat and we are so glad we did ??
Lots of affordable dishes with a great lunchtime deal!
I can't even begin to explain how amazing the food was, I had the Parmesan wedges (with a garlic mayo and chilli jam) and the lasagne which was absolutely incredible!!! My partner had the pizza which he also said was super tasty ?
We were also given ice water for the table free of charge!
The only thing I would like to mention is that it would be great if the ceramic lasagne dish came with a protective outer dish, I've been to some other places where they use a silicone sleeve which would be great.
I did burn two of my fingers on the dish as it was scolding hot and straight out of the oven - the staff did warn me that the dish was hot and it was definitely my own fault but I'd hate for this to happen to anyone else or children, as it's a very easy mistake to make and one of the staff mentioned they were once burned ?
Again, not a fault of the restaurant or staff at all, but definitely something that could be improved to prevent future injury.
Overall we will definitely be back soon and we'd 100% recommend Croma xx

We go here pretty often! We like it, the food is good, atmosphere is good mostly and the service is good too.

Food was just OK. It's a nice venue but there are better places to eat in Prestwich. Pizzas at Rudys are miles better.

Its was my first time eating here. The staff were very attentive especially Katie very pleasant and got us everything we needed as i was there with my friend. The gentleman greeted us well and gave us a nice table.
The pizza i ate was magerita and my friend had a florentino .The best pizza ive had ..i would definately recommend this restuarant.

A lovely experience at Croma - we had the Steak pizza and the Caesar Salad pizza - both were delicious, though a little less sauce on the Caesar pizza would have made it perfect. The cheesy dough balls for the starter were also amazing. The service was nice with very attentive staff, although the hostess did not need to play down the tables on the bottom area, as we were very happy to get a table at all having not booked ahead. A little background music would have rounded off our great experience. We will definitely be back.
