Great food. You normally find with these all you can eat buffets that food is left for ages. Not here. Fresh food is constantly being brought out. Great value for money

When you want a little bit of everything on the menu, and have a fair few months to please, this place is good. I didn't see Swinton Buffet before it was updated but it's very busy these days.
That being said, we've never had to wait for a table because the staff in there are on the ball. Always friendly and chatty, they clear tables and keep the place moving along superbly.

This was a really difficult one to rate.
The place is really dated and the feel of being in there is quite depressing.
But for the price paid, value for money is bang on.
There is enough variety that you will find dishes you enjoy. It's not all great, some of it is rubbish, but you will find something for you and leave full up ?

A really good buffet place with affordable prices for the buffet and drinks. It recently had been refurbished, but the colour scheme for the decor is very vibrant and inviting. For the price of what you are eating, the quality of the food is spot on. There is such a diverse selection of meat, vegetarian, and dessert dishes suitable for everyone of all ages. It's a very refreshing alternative to any chain restaurant, and very much worth the price.

2 adults and 1 child with a drink each was £32 which was an absolute bargain. We went for an early lunch on Saturday so everything was freshly cooked and no issues with things being replaced as it was quiet. My 6 year old loved it, we'll be going back soon

It may have had a refurb. But the food is terrible. Salt, salt, salt. Pork was too thickly cut and had zero taste. Chicken curry sauce was like water. Not much in the way of choice either for the money. Anyone giving this place a 5 Star rating has extremely low standards. Definitely not somewhere I would recommend to anyone. I don't usually give out 1 star reviews that often. This place is worth it though.

This place left a lot to be desired. Firstly, they falsely advertise the price. There is a sign outside stating the buffet is £8.99, but upon entering, a sign on the door window, which has clearly been there for a while, states ?today?s price £11.99.?
When you enter the restaurant, no one is ready to greet you, and obnoxious, loud music is playing. Staff members shout over the music to summon you to the bar. Once they have your money, they do not politely show you to a table but instead hand you your drinks and tell you to ?just grab any table.?
The seating area is very cramped, and the food selection is limited. For example, they provide all the ingredients for aromatic duck and pancakes but no pancakes to make them. Most curry dishes taste watered down with very little flavor. The salt and pepper chicken is a mix of chicken on the bone and off the bone, which I believe is hazardous for children.
While the staff are polite, they do not perform their duties effectively. No one came to clear our plates, so we left them on an empty table behind us to get them out of our way. I didn?t try the dessert as I was too focused on leaving the restaurant.
